The Night Train Express showed up on Tuesday night to play their arch-rivals Merrigan, only to find out that they weren't there (they knew about the game). Jerks! So much for the rivalry - there can't be a rivalry when one side refuses to show up can there? Hopefully the rink management will take action against them... They have bent over backwards for that team in the past, but maybe this time Merrigan went too far... We were to play without Bruce, since the rink does not want him playing against Merrigan, and Joel from Merrigan can not play against us. We found out about Bruce the day of the game, but Merrigan knew from the beginning of the season about Joel. But at least WE showed up... We've decided to give Aaron the goal for the forfeit win... Sorry Dave - had you suited up for the skate you might have had your first goal...
