Notable Villians: Markul The Red Dragon,

Notable Adventures: Desert of Desolation, Isle of the Ape, Castle Greyhawk

Summary: The Campaign began around the Town of Partha in the freezing lands near the Icelace Lake. Northeast of Narfell. After a few adventures in Partha the party left the freezing lands and headed for Shadowdale. There the party would take on many new members. Eventually the party took control of Castle Crag near Shadowdale.

Notes: This was the first campaign to be played after the Gault boys moved to Beacon. It began with Rob, Ken, and Dave Parson’s. Dave played 3 characters, 2 of which were woman who would have sex with his main character. The campaign went on with this cast for a while being joined occasionally by Ron Masacone. Eventually it died out and was not revitalized until Beacon High School where Randy Olivincio, Damon Bissell, and Brian Ring joined on. Ken’s original character was a Ranger who would eventually morph into Sable. Somewhere in the search for a name we came to find Randy’s characters name fit best. Thus Mace’s Wandering Realmsmen were born.

Isle of the Ape

Isle of the Ape by Gary Gygax (Levels 18+)

The party is sent by an Arch Wizard to recover the Crook of Rao from a bizarre demiplane filled with Dinosaurs, Cannibals, and a giant Ape.

Desert of Desolation

Desert of Desolation: (A Super Module Compiled of 3 adventures -Levels 5-9)
-I3 Pharoah by Tracy and Laura Hickman
-I4 Oasis of the White Palm by Philip Meyers and Tracy Hickman
-I5 Lost Tomb of Martek by Tracy Hickman

The Party must fulfill a prophecy to resurrect the Wizard Martek from thousand years past. Next the party must gather 5 gems scatted amongst the ruins of ancient Tombs and Cities. All in the end to stop the demon Amon Re.

(Note: The Super Module had additional information which revised and expanded upon the original adventures. It also transferred the adventure to Forgotten Realms in The Desert of Raurin.)

Greyhawk Ruins

Greyhawk Ruins by Blake Mobley and Timothy B. Brown (Levels 2-15)

"Enter the infamous ruins of Castle Greyhawk, the most formidable and expansive dungeon on Oerth. Its mazes and catacombs have drawn hundreds of adventurers from around the Flanaess. They are intrigued by tales of its riches, undaunted by its reputation for death in countless unspeakable ways. Getting there is no trick - it's a well-traveled path. The trick is getting in and out again with your own hide intact!"

Castle Greyhawk is the ruins of what was once the mantle of power for the greatest wizard of all time. Zagig the mad, driven eventually insane by the great power he had gathered onto his own.
(The Castle consisted of three towers, for low, middle, and high level play respectively. This module stands out as being great detailed with over a thousand rooms each with its own unique challenges.)

Thoreau, a monk of Tyr aided him many times in this endeavor but the two would eventually become enemies when Thoreau turned his pet red dragon against Tandrin and killed him. Tandrin would hunt Thoreau for vengeance he could never attain as Thoreau was slain in the depths of the Underdark. Eventually Thoreau would again be encountered on the outer planes as a Petitioner. The Black Bowsman made some appearances thoughout this campaign. The Campaign ended with Tandrin decisively defeating Darthos. Unfortunatly no one else survived Undermountain. Before his death Thoreau constructed the Tabernacle of Edificate Consiousness.

Notes: This Campaign took place in a world shaped like a Ring. The great Valley was the outer rim though no one ever crossed the mountains to the north or south to find out what was on the inside of the rim. Another special thing about this world was that the Gods existed in mortal form. Only Tandrin survived this campaign and continued on in the All Star Campaign.

The party failed in trying to twart her. Eventually the planet was retaken by the demons and the party escaped to Forgotten Realms. There in the northernmost part of the high forest. The party rebuilt Darkisville and repopulated with the entire town which they’d saved from Krom. The party had one final adventure after arriving in the realms. A mission where they were promised to become gods by a being called The Traveler. After succeeding with their mission each party member was given a small crystal. Within the crystal each member could create any world they wanted and rule there.

He eventually met his fate seeking a massive treasure in undermountain where he was caught and captured by a Dracolich. Though the Bowsman would find rescue in the All Star Campaign.

They next faced Ankha’to the wizard elementalist and his Blue Dragon. Next the party was spell jamming and battling against Grell the Bionoid on the Beholder Citadel. Notable Villians: Lord Vol Commander of the Knights of the Apocalypse

Notes: This Campaign did not last very long. Ring played a few solo adventures exploring one of Larry's elaborate maps. Ken played once or twice being cohersed to play the star character of teh campaign. Shortly after having his sword broke in half by a dragon, ken lost interest. Very little is known or remembered about what actally happened in the campaign. This campaign serves as a nexus for larrys creative ideas. Originally the planet of Kerth was to be the master merging of all larrys coolest concept from all campaigns before. Due to this campaigns early demise many of the intended ideas were later intergrated into Larrys Thorndale Campaign.
