History:
The Terrorquest:
Long ago the heroes were brought to the city of Gearnak to meet with the city’s Magistrate. They would later learn that the Magistrate was once a great wizard known as Torbin Menror. The Magistrate informed them that a powerful creature of mass destruction called the Tarrasquen had been awakened. This creature would destroy everything in it’s path unless it was stopped. The Heroes would have to go on a great campaign to recover a sword and a scroll capable of destroying the Tarrasquen. The heroes soon discover how the creature was awakened. It seems that the city of Gearnak was built atop a massive swamp called the Foul Pits. Within these pits lied great magic and evil. Long ago when the city was built the Magistrate brought an artifact called the Cross of Levitation to protect the city. The Cross had the power to contain the Magic and also to keep the city from sinking into the Foul Pits. As it turned out a villian named Harjan Menror stole the cross for his own uses. The Magic within the Pits that had been contained for so long was unleashed. This raw magic awoke the Tarrasquen. And now the city was beginning to sink into the Foul Pits. As the Quest proceeded the Heroes often struggled to defeat Harjan. Harjan became their archnemisis. Through great acts of courage and heroism the Heroes destroyed the Tarrasquen and reclaimed the cross of Levitation. Soon after they learned that Harjan was the Magistrate’s brother. The Magistrate explained that Harjan had once been a Paladan. But in his travels Harjan came to possess an artifact called the cross of Crucification. In an attempt to bond the cross of Levitation and the cross of crusification Harjan became possessed. The Crosses were sentient Artifacts whose primary wish was to be weilded. But each cross was extemely jealous of the other and so they both worked to entice Harjan to choose. The Fued had an adverse effect. Harjan’s alignment was instanly turned evil. When the Heroes were finally able to take the crosses from him he reverted to a paladan. Harjan left the heroes claiming that he had a thousand wrongs to right.

Heroes of the Banishment:
After thier great quest the Heroes found that they had become famous for there exploits. They were now known as The Heroes of the Banishment. Many members of the group took prominent possitions. Janderin married the only daughter of King Azoun and became the second mage of Suzail. Nym became ruler of the city of Arabel. Mordici built a bards guild in Arabel, Freddegar became lord of the dwarven stronghold of Darkhall, Drazzius became the grand artician of waterdeep, and Menister became head of the halfling lumberjacks union in Luskan.

The Dragon Mountain:
The Heroes enjoyed a long period of peace. Soon after the Magistrate confronted the heroes about obtaining 2 lost artifacts. These were the cross of creation and the cross of decimation. The heroes agreed. The Magistrate, Harjan, and their other brother Kantar went to find the cross of creation. The Heroes went to recover the cross of Decimation. They soon learned that it lied in a place called Dragon Mountain. The mountain was an ancient and magical place that periodically teleported about the prime material plane. Many of the heroes abandoned the quest after being repelled from the mountain numerous times. Only Janderin and Freddegar remained to finish the job. When they reached the mountains base they encounted the great red wyrm dragoness named Infryrana. They slew the dragon and took the cross along with the mighty horde. When the heroes returned home they found that the Magistrate had been successful in recovering the cross of creation. The Magistrate along with Janderin began the tedious process of binding all 4 crosses. The cross of Levitation, the cross of crucification, the cross of creation, and the cross of decimation. The 4 crosses combined to form the cross of Infintation. Then the Magistrate secured the cross below the city and created powerful wards to protect it. The only 2 people who the wards will provide entrance is the Magistrate and Janderin. After this the heroes enjoyed another great period of peace.

Malar’s Manifest:
Years later a great conspirocy was uncovered. The god Malar had been trapped on the face of Faerun and was beginning preparations for a conquest. A holy war had begun. The church of Talos had joined with the church of Malar and the Monster cults. The church of Tempus responded in outright war. Then the church of Gond-(Tempuses only ally) got in to help the church of Tempus. The Heroes of the Banishment joined with dozens of other adventurers to drive back the Monster cults. They were successful. It was at this battle that Ogar came down from the heavens and battled Malar on Toril. Malar was destroyed thus making ogar the new beastgod. The Holy war came to an end with that and peace was restored.

Fear No More:
(note: This was a sequel module to another module called Fear the wrath which took place in the Planescape campaign.)
7 years prior to this adventure the Heroes of the Banishment had been summoned by the Magistrate who was now living on the distant world of Mystara. He told them they had to come with him for some terrible fate would befall their world. When the seven years were up the heroes once again returned to Forgotten Realms a changed place. A powerful fiend had appeared leading an army of Efeeti and shadow demons. The creature had swept accorss the realms laying seige to the land. Elminster had been slain, Zhentil Keep destroyed, and Waterdeep was gone, replaced by what had once been the lowest level of Undermountain. The heroes returned to their beloved city of Suzail to find it in peices. A last remnant of reistence stood. The creature known as Ordathus had been banished by extraplanar heroes but the main threat was still their. The heroes learned that the fiend had been being aided and lead all along by the ancient shadow socerer Nicodemus. Now back in suzail the 3 most powerful livng wizards stood to stop him. They were The symbul, Blackstaff, and Manshoon. They set off to face him directly while the heroes were sent into the shadow plane to destroy Nicodemus's physical form. The party suceeded but back in the realms the last wizards were slain. The heroes would have to face Nicodemus and would need to wield more power then had ever been weilded before to do. They entered the vault below the city of gearnak and removed the Cross of Infintation. They weilded the artifact as Nicodemus came upon them. In the end the heroes were successfula dn Nicodemus was slain. His enchantments were broken. It would take many decades but the realms would return to normality.
