The Party

-1st-Bounty Helper:
-Ragnorak-Shalafi-Darkon-Laramus-Arkon-
The party members had all met up and forged a casual social relationship. They all took part in the march of frogs where by a swarm of frogs would enter the town and people woiuld lick and consume the frogs to enjoy the halucionary effects that this caused. After much of this tom follery the party was summoned by Baron Thornglaive. He had a proposition for them. Not long ago the infamous drow assassin known as Leyenrin had at last been brought in by a Gnoll bounty hunter named Jaka Manhunter. This drow had been a continuous plague upon the peoples of the Dalelands wanted for over a dozen assassinations in 7 different dales. Unfortunately this Leyenrin was very clever and since his arrest he had already managed to escape. The Baron required a group of stout individuals to hunt down and recapture this fugitive. The party agreed and their investigations eventually brought them to a well outside town. Beneath the well they found a series of secret passages which lead them into the ruins of the ancient elven city. They battled numerous kobolds and other cretins before they caught up with Leyenrin. The party came upon him just as he was completing a ritual to resurrect an ancient foe of awesome power. The party watched in horror as the long forgotten death knight known as Lord Doth Magnus rose before them. The entire party fled except for Laramus who was immediately stunned. Fortunately Laramus’s holy symbol of Torm invoked some sense of honor in the death knight who opted not to destroy him. During this escape the party reacquired Leyenrin and chased him out into the open where Jaka Manhunters trap was waiting. The party had fulfilled their mission but also failed to stop a great evil from being released unto the world.

-2nd-The Desecrated:
-Ragnorak-Shalafi-Darkon-Arkon-Laramus-
The party was once again summoned by Baron Thronglaive. It seemed that dark altars dedicated to evil rituals were popping up into the surrounding wood. The party was sent to investigate this. The parties explorations brought them within the grove of the Spiderdruid. Within the grove the party found evidence of sentient intelligence but none that would respond. Arkon started a fire in an attempt to get some attention. The attention they got was most unwanted. A swarm of millions of spiders began to surround the party. They were forced to flee. Sometime later the party was ambushed by Ghostwise halflings from the great Thornwall. Once the Ghostwise established the parties identities they informed them of a strange tree tower located nearby. The party found this locale and it appeared exactly as described. What had once been an enormous tree had somehow been hollowed out and forged into a massive tower. The party infiltrated the tower and ease dropped on a conversation. A drow was communicating through a magic portal with Jazz the Lame of House Jaerle. The party was able to learn very little before Jazz noticed the party. A moment later an enormous winged monstrosity came through the portal. The creature pursued the party across the forest. Just as the creature was about to bring its wrath upon the party The Spiderdruid himself appeared. “Fly you fools” he cried as he engaged the mighty creature in battle. The party ran until there was no more running to do. They arrived back in Thorndale and reported their findings to Baron Thornglaive. The next day the Baron sent a detachment to investigate in force but found the tree tower burnt to the ground. Whatever threat had been developing had been pacified at least for a while.

-3rd-The Missing:
-Ragnorak-Laramus-Darkon-Arkon-Shalafi-
The parties services were once again sequestered by the Baron Thornglaive. This time the Barons daughter had gone missing and needed to be located. The party first made a search of the sewers which of course had long ago been the halls of the ancient Elvin city. They came upon a mongrel man named Ogg. This mongrelman claimed to have been an apprentice of Malakain, the local mysterious and powerful wizard. He informed the party that Thornglaives daughter had been having an affair with Malakain’s number one apprentice. After many days the lady Thornglaive had not heard from her lover and thus went to the tower to seek him. Events there had gone badly as this apprentice had been doing some experiments of his own while the master Malakain was away. These experiments had gone awry and the t6ower was now in pandemonium. The party would have to enter the tower of Malakain to resolve the matter. The party reached the tower and found it easy to enter. Things were most certainly not as they should be. Upon entering the main chamber the party was faced by a massive blue dragon. Whatever the case might have been it seemed the blue dragon was not capable of movement. With the towers upper levels the party encountered many strange aberrations. Numerous magical beasts which were obvious crisscrossed breeds were running loose. At last the party came to learn the fate of Malakain's numbers one apprentice. After things had gone poorly the apprentice had fallen victim to the very seeds that he had sown. He had been killed by a huge displacer beast. The party defeated the monster and found the lady Thornglaive barricaded in a room. The party returned her home and collected their reward. Sometime later Arkon was contacted by Malakain who had returned to find his house in great disorder. Arkon informed of events that had transpired. In return Malakain offered an apprentice position to Arkon. Arkon agreed.

-4th-Never deal with Druids:
-Larimus-Arkon-Dismis-Darkon-
The party was hired to help Sam Fish the meatgrinder set up a burger stand at the Festival of the Waymoot Comet, a druidic communal for all woodland folk. While there the party was sequestered by a Druidic enclave who enlisted their services. The party was hired to find the Druid Summerwind and recover the scepter of the Beast. The party traveled into the mountains where they first defeated some orcs but were later themselves defeated by stone giants. The stone giants took the party captive and brought them to their king Lord Girmenfell. The lord held rule over the stone giants and their stone dragons at the Stone Gardens of Red mountain Pass. The lord decided the party was of good intentions and released them. The party continued their journey and could see off in the distance the Dwarven Colossus. An enormous dwarven statue carved into the mountainside. Legend held that the colossus was the entrance to ancient dwarven keep. The party soon came to huge expanse. The only way to cross the expanse was over the Rivergate bridge. The bridge was actually a gnomish fortress. The gnomes tried to charge the party great amounts of gold. The party resisted at first but finally paid. The party continued on their way and were ambushed by half drow trolls whom they slain. Beyond the trolls was a cave complex with streams of lava. The party came at last to their enemy. A mysterious female they would call the Scarlet lady from henceforth. The scarlet lady was accompanied by other members of the Crimson Brother. A notorious band of pirates. The party defeated the pirates but the scarlet lady escaped. In the caves the party found much treasure including some dragon eggs and the scepter of the beast. On the way home the party came into conflict with the gnomes. Dismis killed one from a distance with a magic missile. Afterward the party returned to the durid enclave and collected their payment.

-5th-A gnome awakening:
-Larimus-Arkon-Dismis-Darkon-
The party awoke to find an army of gnomes entering Thorndale. It was the gnomes of the Rivergate Bridge come to settle a score. They brought the matter of their dead compatriot to Baron Thornglaive. The Baron began to hold a trial to determine the level of guilt upon the party. Before this trial could be concluded an army of drow and minataurs attacked. Much war commenced. Some of the drow escaped into the town well. An entrance to the underground tunnels of the ruined elven city of Myth Glavell. The party pursued. This pursuits would commence for days. The party came to met the blind beholder known as Beyonder. Beyonder helped the party with some information and then the party was on their way. The party encountered kamikaze exploding kobolds but found friends in the form of a Veggie Pigmy civilization. They soon learned that a Kobold community was harboring the drow. The party and their new veggie-pigmy friends went off to war. The party infiltrated the city and killed the drow. Within the city the party found what the drow wanted. A magical sword known as Stormhealer. The sword was guarded by 13 gray philosophers who sent their ghostly malices to kill all. But they were defeated. After recovering the sword the party found that the combined might of the Knights of thorn dale and the gnomes had fought off the invading armies. The trial was concluded and Dismis was made to pay restitution in the amount of a raise dead spell.

-6th-Steelheart
-Larimus-Arkon-Dismis-Darkon-
The adventure began as the party found that Malakains tower had been destroyed and Malakain was dead. This had all been caused by the galactically evil fiend known as Enoch the Fallen. The last will of Malakain asked that a certain mysterious chest be brought to his Brother Malius McCray in the far off city of Glister. The party traveled far through Thay and into Vaasa. On route they were ambushed by orcs led by a half orc riding a black dragon. The party fended them off. Malius was a nice man much different then his brother,. He treated the party well and introduced them to Kaitlin. A young girl whos family had been killed. Malius asked if the party would help the girl find the fate of her parents. The party agreed. In the ruins of Mooretown the party found the girls parents. They were Steel dragons as was the girl. Her real name was Steelheart. Steelheart urged the party to help her get revenge. The party soon came upon an encampment of the cult of the dragon. The party infiltrated and killed all including a very old red dragon. In the after math the party found letters of commenced which informed them of a meeting the cult was to have with the Zhentarium where by the 2 evil organizations would join forces and sweep across these lands as conquerors. The party traveled to the meetings location and used disguises and subterfuge to sabotage the meeting. The two forces began t battle and this forthcoming axis of evil was thwarted. The party returned home.

Interlude: The Baron Thornglaive had died of old age. Now Thorndales rule had been called into dispute. The Knights of Cormyr claimed sovereignty and took control. The party sought to find the will of the Baroness Thornglave whom they recognized as the rightful ruler. There were many insults including the slapping of the fair face of Larimus Lightbringer. The knights and the burgomaster would not let the party speak to the Baroness. They soon took her away and she seemed to be in a trance like state. The party decided they would have to find what was going on with all of this and set it right.

-7th-Halls of Stone:
-Larimus-Arkon-Darkon-Grig (Rob Q)-
The adventure began as a massive meteor crashed near Thorndale. The party investigated to find a sky ship had crashed. The bodies of silver bearded dwarves were found as well as many illithiads. Inside the cargo hold was chest of a reddish steel the party had never seen. The weapon smith Gurl in town told them he had seen it once before. Many years earlier when Gurl was adventuring he had found an injured Stonegiant. He nursed the stone giant back to life and remember the giant had a sword made of the material. The giant had given Gurl a coin in which he could have the favor repaid. Gurl gave the coin to the party. The party knew they could go see the Stone giants and the mountains but they were still concerned the affair of the baroness. The party was making preparations to follow the Cormyrian Knights to Suzail to find the Baroness Thornglave when they were met by Grig. Grig was seeking his homeland which was marked by a Stone Colossus. The party knew the location of the statue and agreed to take him. Larimus’s divinations proved this was not yet the time to go after the Baroness. The party traveled into the mountains and once more came into conflict with the gnomes of Rivergate bridge. Darkon and Grig paid to cross as did Larimus’s horse, a horse who forever more would be ridden with shame. Arkon and Larimus flew across. The party found a horn which summoned stone dragons. The party was soon in the council of the Stone giants lord. Their old friend Grimenfell. Grimenfell proved to be the stone giant in Gurls story. Grimenfell explained that the sword was perhaps crafted by the dwarves of the old dwarven stronghold and he accepted the payment of the coin to transport the party there.
