Located in the southernmost Region of Daggerdale bordering both Mistledale and Cormyr.
Government:
Baron Ravenblade, former noble of Cormyr and the council of three. The Council of three consists of a representative from the humans, the Ghostwise, and the Druids. The council weighs in on all major decisions.
Population:
1,000 people live in Thorndale and the surrounding area. 75% Human, 20% Ghostwise Halfling, 5% Other.

Thorndale was aptly named for the predominace of thorny grape bushes and the towns proximity to the Thornwall. Thorndale of today is built upon and within the ruins of the long ancient and lost elven city of Myth Glaivell. This entire region is territory of great dispute. Currently claimed by Daggerdale, Mistledale, and Cormyr. The greater area is maintained through the rule of Baron Ravenblade and his alliance with the Ghostwise Halfling sof the Thronwall and the nearby Druidic circle. The great majority of people living in Thorndale are refugees from Daggerdale during the Zhent occupation. Thorndale remained free during that period of time due to the actions of Baron Ravenblade. The cities ruler. The Baron, having once been a Cormyrian noble was a respected adversary of the Zhentarium. Thorndales economy survives due to the success of its major exports. Grapes and the well refined wine that is fermented from them.
The secretive archmage Malacain maintains his estate in Thorndale. Rumor has it he is using the ancient elven magical properties of the ruins for his own gain.
