(1898-1963)
Clive Staples Lewis was born on November 29,
1898 to a family in Belfast,
North Ireland. He
was fascinated by the mythical stories that his
nurse told him
when he was a little boy. At age 16 he had a vision of a Faun carrying a parcel.
It was many years later, in 1950, when he started his first book,
The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe. He died on November 22, 1963.
