Saiyans- A bloodthirsty race of warriors, that conquer planets and steal the planet's resources. They reside on Planet Vegeta; where the gravity there is 10 times the gravity of Earth, which is another thing that makes these people so strong. As time goes on, Planet Vegeta is destroyed by Frieza, a raving tyrant who initally feared the Saiyan race, and thought someday a Super Saiyan would emerge.......destroying him. So, he blew up Planet Vegeta.
Saiyan characters Goku- The most important and crutial character in DBZ. The first to initially transform into a Super Saiyan, he's one of the most powerful fighters in the universe. He marries a child hood friend; Chi-Chi, and together they have two children, Gohan the oldest, and then Goten. Gohan- The first son of Goku; Gohan early in the first saga of DBZ(The Saiyan Saga), true power is shown during the battle with Goku's brother; Radditz. Gohan's power is expressed through anger, and basically, the angrier he is, the more powerful he becomes. Goten- Second son of Goku. He was conceived a little before the Cell Games. He's pretty strong, and even transformed into a Super Saiyan with ease at age 7. Which made Gohan a little jealous, considering it took him years to master it. Trunks- Son of Vegeta, who was conceived during the Android Saga. He's stronger than his father, but doesn't know it at first. He too easily transformed into a Super Saiyan, which in turn made Vegeta a little jealous. Trunks is also a crutial character in the show, without his future self from the future during the Android Saga, all would have been lost. Bra- Second child of Vegeta. She doesn't have much of role in any of the series, and doesn't even go Super Saiyan. Her only ability is to control Ki. Vegeta- Vegeta is the proud prince if the Saiyan race, and the planet with the same name. His father King Vegeta dies while Vegeta is still fairly young. Vegeta is one of the few Saiyans left, after the eradication of his homeworld. He and his partner Nappa travel to earth during the Saiyan Saga to retrieve the dragon balls of earth, and to of course, fight Goku. His dream wish was to obtain immortality, but he never achieves it. He later settles down with Bulma and has two kids with her; Trunks and Bra. Radditz= Goku's older and only brother who came to earth after he found out his brother had not completed his mission of destroying the earth. He's fairly weak for a Saiyan, but was killed by Piccolo, with the aide of Goku holding him in place. Nappa- A Saiyan Elite, who was Vegeta's partner during the Saiyan Saga. He's killed during the battle with Goku after Goku uses his Kaioken attack to break the Saiyan's back. And Vegeta being the monster he is, killed Nappa as he was of no more use to him. Brolly- Legendary Super Saiyan; only appearing within the DBZ movies and never in the show. He was very powerful, and was born with a power level of 10,000.....although no where as near as powerful as Goku. Bardock- Goku's one and only father. He's just your average Saiyan when the movie starts out(yes, this was aired as television special), but then you learn to love the way he looks at his children, and the decisions he has to make. He's later killed by Frieza after confronting him.......alone........(Frieza threatened to destroy Planet Vegeta, and Bardock saw the future, after picking the ability up from some aliens on a planet he had conquered ealier on.) King Vegeta- Vegeta's father, of whom ruled over Planet Vegeta. Him and his kind were loyal only under intimidation towards Frieza. Upon his son being promised to Frieza, King Vegeta was fed up and was going to make a stand against Frieza, which would ultimately be his last. He's killed when fighting Frieza aboard his ship...in only two hits. The rest of the Saiyans fall easily after that. |
