Magic Users

This is mainly a section for Mages, With some points on Druids. I may do the other classes, depending on if I feel like, but I tend to favor the magic classes, because thats what I am. Druids are the same (so far) as Mages, except they can get Cure. This is at the Druid temple for 100 gold. The temple is 1 south of Kelay way, 1 west, and 1 north (2 north?). Get cure Asap. Use it when ever you can. Rest, gain back your mp, and cure someone. repeat. Also, use up all your Mp in battle while curing. Escape, rest, repeat. You dont even have to damage it, just wait every other round, while curing on the opposite round. Magic gained by curing outside of battle lacks Mp and wisdom, But the intelligence goes up. once it is ready to be leveled over, just enter a battle and it turn over. Below is Mage, but its good for most classes.

• Mages
• You died...Now your at the dormitory. So where are you and what can you do?
• If you go 1 south, youll be in the library. Here you can read the Hollow Board and also post messages. There is a diary here. Type
• If you go 1 east, you are in the main part of the tower. To the north is Svens office. Up stairs is the meditation chamber. Here is a sign. Read it if you never have. Up stairs is where you may learn spells. If you dont have them, get Firebolt. Chilling touch if you can.
• Lost? From the room that says Mage Tower...go 2 south. Go 2 east. Now you are at the Mountain Path. If you go 4 North, youll come to Masbane. Or you can go 1 east, 1 north, and all the way east till you get to Kelay Way. Further beyond that is the city of Cenril. Weapons and Armor can be bought there.
• The best thing to do for mages is forget about fighting, and just mine for about 500 gold. (Best advice for everyone actually)
• Each armor is priced as so...
• Glowing Shield (ac1) $70 gold.
• Gold Gloves (ac1) $63 gold.
• Gold Boots (ac1) $65 gold. (Gold boots has a problem. To take them off you must type goldboots as one word)
• Gold Breastplate (ac1) $70 gold.
• Gold Helmet (ac1) $75 gold.
• Total=343 They can all be bought in Cenril. The shop is 1 North of the Guide in Cenril, which is straight east from outside the Tavern in Kelay.
• Dragonscale Cloak (ac2) $125 gold. To get this, Go either east from Kelay or west from Cenril, until you get to the Giant Cyclops in between the two citys. He is in the room called Milious Planes. Go south 9, go west 2, go south 1, go west 1, go south 3, and then east 1. Buy the cloak. This is the best armor you can get right now.
• Total armor is $468 gold. Dont buy a weapon, its not worth it.
• Now you are ready to fight. Start with goblins, bandits, Phantoms, and stone golems. Use your spells as much as you can, but if your out of mp, use slash. You may want to use slash, just to get the extra Hp and stamina you need. Use magic when ever you have the mp, but when you do, make sure your in for the haul. Dying is a waste if you havent upped your stats.
• As stated before, escape when your hp goes below the number equal to 3x what the monster your fighting deals. This is a fairly good buffer, with a 3 try escape route. If your getting to this number too quick, you might not want to be fighting this monster. Go lighter.
• Money is pines...Its a good idea to keep pines on you. Fighting alot, quickly, is a good way to use them up. Keep an eye on them and the money in your pocket. If you die, and you havent mined that day...Go mine.
• The higher your wisdom, the less you fizzle your spells in battle. Intelligence is damage by spells. Firebolt max is 13, Chilling Touch is 16.
• Its best to use Firebolt, since it only uses one mp, and also, it levels your magic stats faster. Chilling Touch uses 2 mp and since it levels up Str. as well, it levels everything slower... Except maybe hp and mp. But still...
• Speed is Key. With a high speed, you can move back and forward with less worry of slipping and falling. Use slash to level up speed.
• For those with cure, you can level up your magic very fast. Find the weakest mobile (monster) and fight it. Use slash, then cure, then slash, then cure, ect. do this until your out of mp, and escape. Rest up, and then enter the fight again and repeat. If the mobile is about to die, switch to wait, cure, wait. Basically you can do this until you dont feel like it anymore, and it levels up your magic very quickly. If your character has low stamina, you can just use the wait, cure, wait instead of fighting, or use vairants, wait, cure, slash, cure, wait, cure, ect.
