New Beginnings

So you’ve entered the world of Hollow, and wish to begin your journey. Did you read all of the information before you entered the Tavern? Do you remember it all? Probably not…so here’s what you should do first and foremost. Follow these guidelines and in about 2 hours worth of time you’ll be able to function almost completely on your own. I would also suggest taking a look at my table of race/class skills. This may help you in choosing the class that best suites your needs.

Foremost

• RIGHT click on help. Select open in new window. Click on commands. This is a list of almost every command in Hollow. You can minimize the window, and maximize it when ever you need to find a command. Its alot better than shouting
• From the Kelay Tavern (if your lost your gonna have to seek help in getting back) go 2 south. You will be in Edwards shop. Takeoff and sell your rusty dagger. Its basically a usless item, and you need the gold more than the dagger.
• Find Masbane. To do this go 1 north. Go WEST until you can no longer go west. Your options will be n, s, and e. Go SOUTH once. Go WEST once. Then go slowly north until you see Masbane. He is a NPC and will be a highlighted text.
• Read sign. (type read sign. Youll be told to buy pick axe and learn mine.) With that done, you can start to make some money.
• Go 1 WEST. Here you notice you can mine. Equip the pick axe, and mine. The items you find can be sold to Masbane for money. You will need this to buy weapons and armor.
• Mine until you have a few hundred gold. Since there is a 500 times mining limit per day, it may take a day or two. As you mine, look at your stats (stats), you might notice a bar going up as you do so, next to stamina. if you die before it levels off, you lose that exp. once a stat (in this case stamina) goes up a point you will NOT lose it when you die. (and you will eventually. Not to worry, all you lose is un-leveled exp.)
• Become familiar with the commands, and even ask for some assistance in the form of money or clothes. Almost always someone is willing to help you out.
• Once you have accomplished this, you are sufficantly ready to truely begin your journey. Buy some armor, and seek aid at the next level of my wisdom.
