Biraaj, 8, U.S.A.My plans are to go to acting camp.
I asked my parents what they used to do on their vacations and my dad said that he did not really have vacations. In India summer was quite short but he would spend time with his family and friends playing sports and doing fun things. My mom said that she would do the same things. They both had big families who all lived in the same area so they didnt need to go anywhere and would have fun at home.
LAVY, SingaporeWill be going to Chennai [India] Will be spending time with my grandmother and cousins. For me and my parents India trip means eat &eat.. shop& shop... till you drop...
Will also be visiting the holy place THIRUVANNAMALAI

I still remember the day when my dad got a new car --- a green Ambassador..
thats when I was 10 yrs. old
Our car has brought a lot of change in our lives : weekends became picnic days .
My father is a surgeon so he used to get transferred to govt. hospitals all over Andhra Pradesh.
We were in Ongole , andhra pradesh , and visited a lot of places like
Puttaparthi, Sri Kalahasthi, Thirupathi , Mysore , Brindavan gardens .
Preparation for the picnic started from thursday afternoon .
We had a cook and 2 servants then . So the cook used to prepare lots of crunchy munchy snacks .
My elder brother and sister were real chums and I was the odd one out since I was 5 years younger to them.
[My brother is just one yr older to my sister]
They never allowed me to be a part of their ''gang''.
So I always used to be at the back of my mom and dad .
while travelling I used jump from the back seat to the front seat
of the car and this used to annoy my brother and sister but I had lot of fun.
I used to always play the CID /SPY MASTER of the family
by carrying all the secrets of my brother and sister to my parents
and they used to hate me for that THEN ..
.But NOW they very fondly cherish those memories.
Once the car suddenly stopped cause of some technical fault
and guess who got the previlage to sit in the car while others pushed it ...
YES YOU ARE RIGHT ...ME..
Being the youngest I was allowed to sit in the car along with my dad
who was steering the wheel and my brother , sister & attendant did the hard work[pushing the car]
while my beautiful mother looked on.
This picture is so very vivid in my mind even after 25 yrs...
We used to stop our car near green paddy fields
to have lunch and also pose for some family pictures.
I made sure that i was in all the pictures
