Irish World Award
The Corrs have been awarded "best International Pop Act" at the Irish World Awards at the Galtymore in London's Cricklewood. Andrea accepted the award on behalf of the rest of The Corrs, who were not in attendance.

According to HotPress, the next studio album is rumoured to be released in October this year, though there is no official release date at this time. Most of the tracks are said to be completed, with a few more to be recorded later in the year.

- Special Olympics
Sharon joined the Special Olympics Athletes on 6th February to encourage Northern Ireland to get involved with a programme to support the athletes. The Programme is the main fundraising initiative of the games, and is sponsored by RTE.

- Brown Thomas Fashion Show
The Corrs attended The Brown Thomas International Fashion Show in Dublin on the 23rd of January, and were among the guest presenters. 'The Edge' of U2 was one of the irish stars to strut down the catwalk along side models Naomi Campbell, Aimee Mullen,
Giselle Bundchen, Helena Christensen, Yasmin Le Bon, and other top models. The Event was to raise money for the children's charities Chernobyl Children's Project, ISPCC and The Christina Noble Foundation.
