History's Heroes
- Hi, my name is James Mills and I would like to welcome you to my Heroes of History Website. The above photo is of a statue of William Wallace. History has many heroes, but who of these really deserve this label? In my many years of historical research I have discovered that there are only a few who were genuine heroes with courage, heart and above all, honour. These few real heroes fought for what they believed in, never gave up without a fight and fought with real bravery, these heroes were not politicians or tyrants who sat back in comfort while sending other men out to die for them, they fought with their people on the battlefield. They also fought with dignity and honour, never fighting to conquer or rule. Such characters as these are not easily found among history. The reputation of great men and woman is apt to be shadowed by questionable motives and policies, but here are pure patriots, warriors and heroes, worthy of honour, respect and admiration.
