The Magical $20 Digital Camera Collection

Do you need a camera? Can't afford a top of the line 60 gajillion megapixel digital camera? Are you more interested in art than clarity? (At least every bad picture you own has an excuse this way.) Then I have the solution for you! It is a cheap-o-camera-picture-taker-extroadinaire-o. I purchased a twenty dollar digital camera from Vivitar and I absolutely love it (look for them at places like Walmart, Walgreens or similar stores). There are examples below and none of them have been touched by photoshop. The pictures below have a different effect, they have enough clarity to be discernible but they have an abstract flair. I can not guarantee the same blurry, swirly effect will happen with every camera, but I do know it is worth paying twenty dollars for this camera. Even if you have a camera that puts out wonderful photos, try your hand at a cheap-o-camera-picture-taker-extroadinaire-o. Keep in mind that these cheap cameras do not have a slot for a memory card so pay attention to you battery life. I have lost plenty of pictures because of that. Another thing to keep in mind about cheaper cameras, the viewfinder is not the camera lens. Play with lining things up before you try to create photo magic, the practice will help to make more pictures become keepers (this is true of all things, practice helps you improve, wow my site is educational). I hope to see more cameras like this when I next visit. :)

Picture Description
This is a picture from Abacella Winery. I figure the canon is used to ward off would be grape thieves.... Or perhaps to kill birds. Hehe. The green below are grape vines, by the way.
Pop in silhouette at Gold Beach.
Gold Beach.
Gold Beach, another view.
Gold Beach rocks, Take II.
A small rock portruding from the sand at Gold Beach. A definate favorite, I have another picture taken with another camera whic I will display as soon as I get them on cd.
A view of Hell Road.
The views from Hell Road were beautiful. It was an overcast day and everything was a little grey check out what the camera did with the available light. This is probably a favorite of my pictures with this camera.
I like this picture for two main reasons. The forboding sky and the doors of the car thrown open. The car doors open show the utter need for escape from the car for even just a short bit. Can we say 'Harrowing' boys and girls?
Another view from Hell Road. Do I need to mention the sky?
Another view. There was evidence of a fire in the recent history which you can see in the pictures.
Here is a picture of Uncle Don fishing. My dad was the photographer on this trip can you tell the difference in quality? Neither can I. Just point and click. Oh and pops caught 4 fish, 3 of which were hooked one after another. Toss it in reel 'em in. And fishitarians, all were released because of that whole less than 16" thing.
The claw foot tub has a home and it even has some walls now, the walls are not shown in this picture.
