Beyond Blasphemy: The Dangers of New GM FWD Vehicles

Welcome to the new & more informative GM Blasphemy page. Once again, so I hopefully don't get in trouble the above pic is merely for entertainment purposes only. But can someone please tell me how an idiot like this can defile, shame & destroy a classic & sacred auto model? He claims that the incredibly butt-ugly taillight design on the imposta was "inspired by the 1965 Impala". Enough said about the obvious, I'm just gonna get all upset & go into another long rant like the old GM Blasphemy page and that's already been done. What has driven me to update this section early on in the game is the fact that what is now called an Impala is a front-wheel-drive mass-produced hydroplaning accident waiting to happen. As if this isn't bad enough, they have a faulty steering rack problem that can LOCK the steering on you without warning, and a faulty engine cradle problem as well. A new imposta 9C1 crashed into a ditch during a police chase due to the steering locking, nearly killing both officers in the vehicle. The policeman riding shotgun was ejected, after SECURELY BELTING IN! This case is documented on the steering problem link above, and it's the only documented one I've found so far. However a problem with the seat belt was also encountered by this edmunds.com roadtest, and Edmunds further slams the imposta in this review. Hey General Motors, are we getting through to you yet? It's a very sad world when all the police & emergency services can turn to for a car that won't kill them is a Ford Crown Victoria. Do you see Ford deleting the Mustang or the LTD or the RWD Lincolns from their lineup? Of course not! Please STOP with the idea that front-wheel-drive can be performance & bring back the real Caprices & Impalas! Haven't enough kids in their little souped-up FWD rice-burners died to prove FWD is not for high speed? And Japan has FWD down to a science, while GM continues to make them with faulty racks that lock & send people into oncoming traffic. Yayyyy! How many more people have to be injured or die to stop this madness?
