Italian Job may be a boxing day
perennial but it is still the classic British crime/comedy caper that
inspired such films as Lock
Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch
and a whole host of others. It has also inspired The
Italian Job game and soon, a
remake.
Michael Caine is Charlie Croker - fresh out of prison and straight into a
job, The Italian Job. This involves "three mini coopers, three fast
cars", and robbing four million Dollars of gold bullion through a
traffic jam right under the noses of the mafia. It also has a classic soundtrack
by Quincy Jones.
