NOTE:
For Users who installed MS .NET Framework 1.1, it creates a new user profile "ASP .NET" which is a hidden profile. It then causes your computer
from automatically loading your user profile automatically when you start the computer & may cause your computer to automatically log off your profile
after a period of time. This problem is not observed using MS .NET Framework 2.0
TO FIX THE PROBLEM caused by Framework 1.1
Click Start, Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2, and click Ok.
Select the user account from the list (to which account you want to automatically logon). Uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option.
Then click on the advance tab and the Advance button under the heading "Advance User Management", a new window should pop up with the headings "Local Users and groups".
Open up the subfolder for User and select and double click "ASPNET", then select the option to disable the account and press Ok.
You will be reverted back to "Local User & Groups" window, close this window. You're nearly there, just click Ok once more. Type the user account password and complete the process.
For Windows XP Home, don't try to auto-login as the built-in Administrator, as you'll receive a restrictions error.
