As you know, all good things must come to an end. This postulate stands true even when it comes to Walley World. As of the 31st of May, in the year of our Lord 1998, we all packed up our shit, and headed back to our respective summer dwellings.
Of course, "the World" will be missed. But the page will remain on the Internet as one last hurrah of nostalgia to those longing to return, seeking the World's comforting odors and ambiance, but unable to find these fruits elsewhere.
So, enjoy...
Walley World is the humble abode of Joe, Nate, and Bryan.
It is also known to host the likes of Musch, Merrick, Jenn, and Borden...and even on a few occasions, Dewey. And, of course, Ruth and Hadassah.
This two-bedroom for three people, odor labyrinth, is the site of excessive alcohol abuse mainly by Roger Williams University students, but here at Walley World, we do not discriminate.
We've had guests from such fine academic institutions as Dartmouth, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, University of Rhode Island, Curry College, Bristol Community College, Bridgewater State, Bergin Community College, Johnson & Wales, Rhode Island College, Stonehill, Boston University, and Northeastern, to name a few, as well as the U.S. Army, Coast Guard, and Air Force.
Not to mention all the individuals who are currently on their college sebaticles.
All have had a splendid time achieving obscene drunkeness with us, and have scheduled reappearences planned.
#1. It always stinks...whether its the bathroom, kitchen, pantry, a person, beer, piss, dip, ass, etc...
#2. Roughly, every two or three weeks the trash will be taken out. (we have a weekly trash pickup)
#3. Very seldom is there anything edible that hasn't passed its expiration date, yet the beer seems to flow like a mountain spring.
#4. Inadvertanly, in a direct correlation with #3, there is rarely any toliet paper in the house, so come prepared...or, shit before you come over.
#5. Don't talk to Nate when he's drunk...cause no matter what you say, he's right and you're wrong.
#6. We have three nintendo & sega channels...how can you go wrong?
#7. We have more beer and dip than most 7-elevens.
#8. The house is haunted.
#9. We watch South Park like its church.
#10. Someone's always home!...cause nobody has more free time than us!
Recently, we were even fortunate enough to host Bootsie and the "band on the run", Stonetree. Never has there been so many hours of 007 played as there were that weekend.
Ok, now here's a short summary of what it is like
to be at Walley World.
Special thanks to Daily Bread, without whom none of us would have eaten from January till May. Actually, thanks to Ruth for hiring us.
