History: Enter the twisted mind of the Night Phoenix, the man behind the megacorporation, Phoenix Corporation. While we could give you the life story of Cameron Blackblade, it's rather pointless, and we don't have the patience to tell it all to you.

Cameron Blackblade is one of the fourth-generation Eremento-Jin--meaning that he came around in the years after the defeat of the 22nd Angel, Xeruel. Cameron was a different kind of Eremento-Jin, he really didn't believe in the carefree ways of his older teammates. Cameron was strictly business, preferring to calculate actual combat strategies for E-Jin battles instead of just "winging it."

Finding that his methods weren't exactly popular, Cameron became rather reclusive, training in the Austrailian outback to perfect his own martial arts styles. Cameron would have preferred to remain like this, but a new threat caught his attentions--namely that of Keiji, the son of Xeruel. Deciding to re-join the Eremento-Jin team structure instead of being the lone swordsman, Cameron volunteered to go into battle first against the Dark Messiah. While Cameron lost the battle, he bought valuable time for the planet of Nerima, giving Che Tenshin enough time to get from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to the battlefield.

After the battles with Keiji, Cameron decided that the realm of Ayenee would be the next place he would venture into. This is when he encountered enemies of the elder Eremento-Jin--The Bloodtides & Scorn Darktide. Nearly single-handedly, Cameron decimated the Bloodtides, but never got a good shot against their leader, Selena Bloodtide. Cameron's successful campaigns against Ayenee clans gained him a leadership role within the Eremento-Jin--Field Commander.

As the new Field Commander of the Eremento-Jin, Cameron began to seriously modernize the E-Jin's battle tactics and facillities. Cameron's reforms came at a great time, especially now that the clan that called themselves "Darkness" had emerged. After E-Jin Commander KoreDo Hikari was assaulted by a group of five Darkness members, the Eremento-Jin began a campaign of destruction. Since the Darkness liked to attack in mass numbers, team battle tactics were vital to the victory of the Eremento-Jin. In the end, the Darkness were once again driven underground.

After the successful campaign against the Darkness, Cameron once again returned to his reclusive training, not even contacting the Eremento-Jin for several months. When Cameron returned, he was a changed man. Gone was the worn-out fighting gear, gone was the literal arsenal of weapons. Cameron was now a sucessful businessman and military general. Still, his desire for battle remains, and on occasion, the persona known as the Night Phoenix emerges, wielding the Kyoudachi Hagewashi.
