To Random Island !!

Random Island is about "twenty-two miles long, nine miles wide on the eastern end, four miles in the middle and ten miles wide on the western end." It is the largest island in Newfoundland.

There are over two hundred and fifty ponds on Random Island; meaning that aproximately one half of the island is made up of water.

The highest point of land is called Ginpicker Hill, about halfway between Deer Harbour and Lower Lance Cove. It is 843 feet (257 metres) high.
