Powers of the Psi-Master
At first level Psi-Master starts out with all the powers as per their gender (see Sentinels RPG pg. 29 & 30).
Also, they get to select a certain number of powers depending upon gender.
Male: Select three (3) powers from the Sensitive Catagory, two (2) from Healing & Physical (four total), and one (1) from Super.
Female: Select one (1) power from Sensitive, two (2) from Healing, three (3) from Physical, and two (2) from Super.
At second level the Garudan can select a total of two (2) powers from Sensitive, Physical, and/or Healing catagories, and one (1) from Super (except of course, Mind Wipe, Psi-Sword, and Possess Others)
At third level the Garudan can select a total of two (2) powers from Sensitive, Physical, and/or Healing catagories, and one (1) from Super (including Mind Wipe, Psi-Sword, and Possess Others)
At fourth level the Garudan can select two (2) powers from Super catagory only.
From Fifth level on the psychic can select a total of two psychic powers from any catagory.
(SPECIAL) Long-Range Telepathy
The Garudan Psi-Master is also able to speak w/ his mind across massive distances. This power includes mind-reading and mental probes (but range is drastically reduced). Range: 90 miles+10 miles per level (double when communicating w/ other Garudans, reduce to 100ft+10ft per level when using mind reading and mental probes). I.S.P. Cost: None.
P.P.E.: Most of the Garudans P.P.E. has been expened in the development of psionic powers. The remaining Permanent P.P.E. Base is 1d4.
I.S.P.: To determine the Psi-Master's initial amount of Inner Strength Point, take the number of M.E. as the base, roll 3d4x10 and add it to the base number. The Mind Master gains another 10 I.S.P. for each additional level of experience.
I.S.P. is regained at the rate of 2 per hour of activity, or 12 per hour of meditation or sleep.
Attribute Requirements: M.E. of 15 or higher
Skills: The Garudan Psi-Master has little in the way of education, as he spends most of his life improving his psionic powers.
At first level the psychic has Lore: Psionics (see upcoming new skills) +10%, Paramedic (+10%), Climbing (+10%), two W.P.s of choice, and HTH Basic*.
*HTH: Basic can be upgraded to Expert, but costs two 'other' skill selections.
The character also starts out w/ 10 other skills, pluss two at level 3, two at level 6, and two at level 10, each w/ a +5% bonus.
Available skill catagories are limite to any: Communication, Domestic, Electrical: Basic only, Espionage, Mechanical: Basic only, Medical: Any except M.D., Physical: Any except martial arts & boxing, Pilot: Any, except mecha skills, Pilot Related: many, Science, Technical, W.P., Wilderness.
Standard Equipment: Air tank and filter, Garudan body armour (chest plate, shoulder guards, and thigh plates; 30 M.D.C. total), sidearm (pistol) of choice, utility belt, back-pack.
Allies working w/ the REF may also have 4-6 colbalt grendaes, 2-4 colbalt limpet mines, additional energy weapon & ammunition, wrist radio, a conventional vehicle (hover cycles are their favorites), and another common combat items.
Authorized Clearance Upon Assignment: Same as the Garudan Warrior.
Monthly Wages: The Psi-Masters are payed very well for their powers and services, recieves the same as a R.E.F. Veritech Fighter Pilot.
