Ok, so you're probably either here for a reason or you just stumbled
on this while randomly surfing. Either way, welcome and read!

Do you want to cut the amount of popups, spyware, and adds that are
blasted at your computer to nearly nothing? Well, I have your answer.
With just a few simple steps and a small download, you can be surfing
safer and faster! I use these methods so I know it works.

For this page I'll have Internet Explorer and Firefox tutorials.

Before you continue, make sure you have Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, and
Spyware Blaster installed.

First, we'll reduce the amount of stuff that actually gets into your
computer. The method to do this with IE and Firefox is similar, but I'll lay
out the steps for each anyway.

Second, we're going to prevent banner ads and ad applets from running.
This is done by configuring a blackhole proxy which I'll explain on the next
page.

Click on the "Tools" menu option and select "Internet Options".

Click on the "General" tab and click on the "Delete Files" button. Then click
the "Settings" button.

In the text box under the "Amount of disk space to use" area, type in a
value from 1 to 5. What this does is limits the amount of web page files that
can be downloaded and saved on your computer in the first place which will
drastically reduce the amount of spyware you have on your computer.

For Firefox it's just a bit different.

Click on the "Tools" menu option and select "Options".

Select "Privacy" and then the "Cache" tab. Click on the "Clear Cache Now" and
type in a value from 1 to 5 in the text box for the cache usage.

Now on to the next step. Next
