Merry and Pippin are two mischievous young Hobbits who tag along when Frodo first sets out for Rivendale. They enjoy eating, drinking, and a good time but can rise to the occasion when need be. They seem mostly to only keep Sam and Frodo company and provide a good laugh at their expense until they are kidnapped by orcs. When they are free and meet up with the Ents they are responsible for sending the Ents to attack Isenguard. |
