We've been living in Hamarøy for almost four years now and I really like it here! My mother and father are always discussing emigration to Ireland or the North of England but I'm not worrying to much about that.
I've not written anything about my mother yet so here comes a picture of her with Nils in our garden, as you may have understood already, no highways here.

My parents are planning to ruin this nice 'natural' looking garden completely this summer. Away with the heather and the berries and in with the grass! Nice football pitch that's going to be though. Plenty of opportunity for me and my mate Sigurd Antonsen to play when all the work has been done. With the sun up al day long this summer the grass wil grow like fungi in an old pair of eskimo boots, can't wait to get started.

Here are some more pictures. Where we live there aren't too many children of my age, only one! So we would like to welcome more people with young children to come and live in our village so that the local authorities can consider to reopen our school here!
