Merry Meet...My name is Alexisgold Raven and I am the Lead Vocalist for Witch Hunt. I was born in Simi Valley California on May 1, 1967 (Beltane) and I'm 35 years old. I have been a resident of Puyallup, Washington since I was 10.
I am a Practicing Wiccan and have been "Out of the Broom Closet" since 1998. The band's name is based on this fact. I have been singing since I was small, but also played clarinet for 9 years, and I enjoy playing bass on occasion.
Witch Hunt is my first "band" although I have been playing with BellWitch (Bell) for 17 years. (He came and auditioned for my 1st band in 9th grade.) My musical tastes and influences vary from Classical to Hard & Heavy Euopean Metal. My Singing Idols include King Diamond, Bruce Dickinson, Harry Conklin,Andi Deris,Tarja Tururen and Pat Benatar.
My Top Bands are King Diamond, Jag Panzer, Nightwish, Iced Earth, Kamelot, Helloween and have been getting into Rhapsody, Seven Witches and Tobias Sammet. I am ready to prove that Women and Heavy Metal Do GO Together and Show All you Metal Fans out there that with a Dream you can Achieve Anything in life!!!!!
