Riley was born at 8:09 am. She weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 18 3/4in long.
BIRTH STORY
I went into the hospital at 6:30am. They prepped me for surgery and made me sign a bunch of papers until a little after 7am when I went into the operating room. There they gave me a spinal, twice! The first didn't take, so they went higher and it finally took. Next, I puked! (Daddy-Rocky thought it was "cool":)) Then they pulled the babies out. They didn't scream when they came out, all I really heard were suctioning noises! Rocky cried a little after, but he was quiet most of the time, Riley, however, screamed almost the whole time!!! The babies and daddy left after they were shown to me and the docs began to sew me up. However I started to come out of my spinal. The Demoral stuff didn't take or the new guy doing the spinal didn't do it right, so I started coming out of it! I was given shots of morphine to help. After all that, I went to recovery and then to my room. The only other problem was that I lost too much blood and needed a blood transfusion. The babies were perfect and had more hair than any other baby in the nursery!
This is from the first weekend we had them home.
Riley had to be on a bilirubin light for jaundice the day she came home until Monday. The light was flourescent blue so it made her look like a little glo worm!!

This was taken this past saturday (12), it was the outfits they wore to get professional pics taken at Sears. Doesn't Riley look like a little Amish girl with that hat!!!!
