1st Level: Bardic Knack: When making any skill
check, you can use ½ your bard level (rounded up) in place of
the number of ranks you have in the skill (even if that number is 0,
and even if that skill normally doesn’t allow untrained checks). You
can’t take 10 on checks when using bardic knack. You can’t use bardic
knack on any knowledge skills.
2nd Level: Bonus Feat:
At 2nd level, a bard gets a bonus skill-oriented feat. The bard
gains an additional bonus feat every two levels thereafter. These
feats must be drawn from the appropriate tier, as noted below:
Level 2: Tier I
Level 4, 6: Tiers I or II
Level 8, 10, 12: Tiers I, II, or III
Level 14+: Tiers I, II, III, or IV
Tier I Feats: acrobatic, agile, alertness, animal affinity, athletic,
deceitful, deft hands, diligent, investigator, magical aptitude,
negotiator, nimble fingers, persuasive, self-sufficient, stealthy.
Tier II
Feats: chant of the long road (CS), danger sense(CA), epic of the lost
king (CS), extra music(CA), inspire spellpower (CS), quick
reconnoitre(CA),
obscure lore(CA), skill focus, warning shout (CS).
Tier III
Feats: battle dancer(PHB2), chord of distraction (CS), force of
personality(CA), goad(CA),
improved diversion(CA), kiai shout(CW), lingering song(CA), master
manipulator(PHB2), sound of silence (CS).
Tier IV Feats: chant of fortitude(CA), greater kiai shout(CW).
