Houserules - General Rules - Called Shots
 


Characters may make called shots against specific parts of their opponent's anatomy.  This may be useful to target weakly armored areas, such as attacking a heavily-armored but helmetless opponent.  Called melee shots suffer a -4 to their attack roll, and trigger attacks of opportunity.  Called ranged shots suffer a -4 to their attack rolls, and are full-round actions.

Specific situations may modify the above rules.  For example, if attacking an opponent from directly above, and making a called shot at their head, melee attacks are at -2 and do not provoke AOOs.  Similar ranged attacks are at -2 and are standard (attack) actions.
