Annwn is populated with a diverse and fantastic array of races, of dispositions
both fair and foul. Most important among the goodly races are the sturdy dwarves,
reclusive elves, cheerful halflings and mischievous gnomes. Evil races also
abound, the most notable of which are the brutish orcs, savage reptilian
races, and cowardly goblinoids. Far more prevalent than any of these, however,
is the diverse and unpredictable race of the humans, the undisputed masters
of much of Annwn. As such, most of Annwn has been subdivided into kingdoms
and states based on the governments of the humans.
