Summary: I am a biochemist, biophysicist, anthropologist and communications scientist. I am writing my second novel and my second play.I have worked and am educated in many
fields including theatre, education, cataloguing and science. I run a part time company

1/01/05-23/08/05. Valley Park Community School, Maidstone, Kent, & then Woolwhich Poly
Technical School one then another half term contracts teaching science full time. Years last half
term spent teaching CDT & art at New Brompton College.

11/03-1/1/05. Teacher, Science. Design, plan and deliver GCSE, KS2 & KS3 science program in
an EBD school. Manage Chem., Phys. & Bio. Lab. Some acting and puppetry. Meadow's School,
Southborough, Kent, England.

9/03-10/03 Teacher. Science GCSE double award, KS3. Holmesdale Technology College,
Snodland, Kent.

9/02-6/03 Teach GCSE biology, puppetry, and BTEC acting at Merthyr Tidfil College, Wales,
whilst recieving a PGCE in FE from Cardiff University.

8/01-9/02, Build large & small puppets for OSU's Blue Willow production, perform
the Lion Who Lost His Mane, ecology piece with puppet fun, Build and perform a recreation
of classic Greek mask & body puppetry(Euripedies), research markets, theatre, and chemisty.
Study lightwave 7.0, build, perform, film and edit a digital video piece entitled Gross National
Product.
Teach puppet construction & manipulation to children through the Corvallis Art
Center, to OSU students in Blue Willow, and to puppetsceince performers. Adapt Puppetscience

temporary. Searching and comparing databases, locating publications and allocating copyright

3/98-2/00, Oregon State University Seed Laboratory, Botany Laboratory, Corvallis
Oregon 97333, USA Part time work identifying the scientific names of impurities
in grass seed samples from through out the world. Use of microscopes and glassware,
plus plant dictionaries and keys.

12/94-3/98, Other Time Between. Self Employed Wrote book, plays, built, wrote and
performed four metal, wood, and molded automaton theatre pieces, graduate
student. Also worked from 5/88-7/89 for Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre, Vancouver, Wa.
USA. Building and performing hand, rod, bunraku, and shadow automatons from fiberglass,
wood, polymer plastics, polyurethane, polystyrene, and acrylics. Prototypes for Ancient
Greek. Performed at UNIMA Japan 1988 Japan, 1989 MIT puppeteers of America, 1989
Puppeteers of America, worked house for Brighton festival 2000 UK

12/93-8/94, Eclectic Enterprises, Dinner Theatre, Portland Oregon, USA; Laughing Horse
Summer Theatre, Ellensburg, Wa. USA; Mark Hatfield Marine Science Center, Newport,
Or. USA. Performed and taught using various accents and mannerisms in a range of
entertaining, sociological, and or scientific productions.

10/92-6/93, Linn Benton Community College, Benton Center, Corvallis, Or. USA, Also
USC, L.A., USA. Organized and taught class in presenting human behavior (acting).

Other work: Construction site work, Set construction, Library cataloguing, Grading papers
and tests, Set painting, Lighting, Catering.

Education: 1994-1997 Biochemistry/biophysics, and anthropology graduate work.
Courses in: DNA protein interactions, neurochemistry, protein chemistry, anthropological
theory, human behavioral evolution, polymer behavior in aqueous environment,
polymer-engineering, ecology, evolution, protein DNA interaction etc. Was working toward
thesis when funding vanished, have completed much research since. OSU, PSU, IDS, Private.

and Richard France.USC(Univ. Southern Ca.), Los Angles, Ca. USA.
1981-1988 Three separate science degrees in speech communication, biochemistry
biophysics, and anthropology. OSU(Oregon State Univ.), Corvallis, Or. USA.

Interests: Science, history, evolution, martial arts, theatre, writing, push bikes,
walking, maps, books and board games, miniatures.
