How soul types work?

Soul types effect the following.

Character Personality

This is mainly a roleplaying effect. Players should choose soul types based on their character's personality. This may or may not match up to class abilities. For example, a dark knight destined to become a paladin will probably have a light soul affinity. A cold, calm, and unchanging paladin will have an ice soul affinity.

Character Elemental Inaptitude

Characters have a hard time manipulating elements that are opposite of their temperement. Thus, a character recieves a -1 DC modifier when using an element the opposite of their soul type.

Character Elemental Strength

Characters can easily manipulate elements which they are accustomed to. Thus, they gain a +1 DC modifier when using an element which matches their soul type.

Character Limit Breaks

Characters should design their limit breaks with the majority of the elemental affinities being the same as their soul type.
