Kia is here in her bathing outfit. Yes it's cute and you'd better acknowledge it Valanth's been trying to make her into more of a girl at times. Valanth now is splashing around in the waters near the falls or as near as he's allowed to get with his lurvely Kia watching over him from shore as she dries her hair which actually isn't spikey at the moment being wet and all.

D'baji pauses as he and Nverath enter, the bronze doing the service of nudging at the Imitating Mime's chest, and in return having his head hugged rather affectionately, to put it lightly. A nod from the rider, and the embrace is broken so that Nverath might head out towards the water, last night's beach events all but forgotten by him, though rather on the mind of the Mute. One of those mellowed brassy bugles is given to Valanth in greeting, Kia given a whuffle as well, before he skids to a halt at the water's edge, turning around to stick his tail in, and, as tradition requires, backing into the pool with an audible draconic sigh. D'baji beams at Kia, wandering on over towards her while taking off his boots (quite the hopping and dancing feat) and giving her an amicable wave.

Kia glances up at the Nverath whuffle and grins "Why aren't you sweet! Valanth'll just love having someone to play with in there. Just don't overly douse him alright? You're much bigger than him you know" a whisper now "Just be sure to make sure you don't point that out. He might try to prove that's no big deal." a wink before she turns to the waving Baji and grins "Baji!" pause, frown. "Oh wait you can't talk can you? Does that mean I'm not supposed to talk to you?"

Nverath turns his head towards Kia just before pushing himself completely into the water, wings extended for full buoyancy, and gives an affirming croon. Oh, he would hate to destroy Valanth's self confidence. With the help of tail swishing and feet paddling, he turns himself around, propelling himself slowly towards Valanth, and, upon reaching fairly close, lowers his nose to the water to blow a few playful bubbles. D'baji just grins, giving an over-emphasized shrug. He points at her, then makes the sign of something coming out of his mouth, no doubt words, and nods. Then he points at himself, repeates the 'talking' sign, and shakes his head dubiously. Then he goes to sit on a rock, raising an eyebrow, and pinching at his arm, then pointing at her. How do you feel?

Valanth is the recipiant of bubbles! Whoo the little blue moves himself nimbly about the waters occasionally shooting almost like a fish down into the glassy blue surface and the bobbing up again to give a little splash towards Nverath. Kia just giggles at Baji "Poor you I'm so soorry I'd thought to go to the beaches cause I really miss them but seeing what you got for it I highly doubt I'll head up there any time soon." an eyequirk at his mimeing "How do I feel? Is that what that means?" a shrug as she rises from her towel to grin "I'm fine I guess just letting Valanth play a bit before he gets his bath."

"Yeah, 'bout that..." N'ano states as he catches bits of the conversation at hand as he makes his way down the path "Ya'll know how many times I've been called into /Senior Weyrwoman Saria's/ attention 'bout what you guys do?" Though his head is shaking, he still has a grin on his face as he makes his way to his pedestal, the tree branch. "Can't ya'll just like--not get into trouble in her presence for 'least a sevenday?"

D'baji gives a joking shudder for beaches, though nodding, and altogether pleased with her response. And the fact that she got his miming. For the comment of Valanth bathing, he puts both hands over his heart in something of a flourish, tilting his whole body a bit to one side, and batting his eyeballs. In short, how very nice of her that is. Nverath moves his head in an attempt to see the blue, giving little warbles for every time he pops up, and sending bubbles in that direction if he finds the time for it. Bronzerider points to his Nverath in the water, then proceeds to make signs of washing by lifting one arm and scrubbing at an armpit. Nverath is just here for a bath. Arms are spread to full length, then shortened to demonstrate: A short bath. N'ano get's a salute, and a shake of the head.

Kia bats innocent lashes at N'ano "But N'ano I haven't gotten into /any/ trouble just yet. If you like I could start anytime you like?" smirk oh and salute "Weyrlingmaster N'ano type that is" Baji gets another bright smile as she moves closer towards the water "Baji you're just so sweet without words to describe it. Nverath here for a bath too hmm? Valanth just lurves to play and he's quick if I don't mind bragging which as long as it's on Valanth I don't mind" Valanth himself is enjoying this bronze sibling of his and so he pops up to stay for awhile just floating near the surface his wings keeping him on course

D'baji gives a sardonic little smile to Kia for her compliment, which really doesn't need any gestures to accompany it, as he tosses the shirt to the boots on the ground, leaving his pants on, Thank Faranth, and following her towards the water with a backwards grin to the Weyrlingmaster. Nverath is rather enjoying the blue's company as well, truth be known. He gives a playful flick of his wings towards the blue, which sets him in a bit of a spin in the water, and doesn't offer much of a splash, but he needed to do /something/ when taking a breath between bubble blowing.

Kia sticks her tongue out at N'ano over her shoulder "Really I've always been a rule follower no reason I should change now N'ano." hmph and with that she execute a neat dive right into the waters only to surface near her lifemate the side not occupied by a Nverath and turning she swims back towards the shallows "Come on Valanth we'll get you nice and clean! You can play later with Nverath and yes I do think he has a rather nice shade of bronze on him even if it's not nearly as nice as blue." a pause as she listens and then just laughs "No! We're not painting random dragons blue they wouldn't like it"

Izz'y slides briskly from his blue, shortly after landing, and quickly glances around at those already in the basin, to make sure he doesn't miss anyone in his greetings. "Hey! N'ano, Hannah, Lib," He calls as a greeting to his clutchmates, and then, "Hello, Baji, Kia..." to the weyrlings, as he makes his way down towards the water, sandals under one arm and Nuadayth's straps under the other. These he sets by a rock, and him and his blue go to join those already all wet. Of course, Izz and Nua are wet already, but they're also all salty, and that needs to be fixed.

D'baji starts at a run now for the water's edge, coming within a few feet, and then stopping short, arms and hands outstretched, body rigid. Ever so slowly, he slides down until he's sitting on the ground, and upon standing again, makes a point of feeling his way around the invisible wall with a giggle. Well, he's been miming all day, this sort of thing was bound to happen at some point. A hand is clapped over his giggle and he turns, offering quick salutes to Hannah, Izz'y, and Lib, before jumping into the water, and hurrying to join Nverath. Kia is given a wave once he's in the water as well, and he points at Nverath, makes a big smile, which is accented by fingers pushing at his dimples, and then pointing at Valanth. Finally, a splash of the water is made. Nverath enjoys playing with Valanth as well.

"Gooood!" N'ano exclaims towards Kia, adding "That'll make one less trip to see Saria..." --the last bit somewhat said sarcastically. He'll be back there no doubt by sunfall. "Annnnyway, ya'll should enjoy 'em thoroughly when they're that small, y'know... ain't gonna be that little for much longer!" Not that they're that little anymore, seeing as they're already starting to grow dramatically. Izz'y's greeted with a flick of a salute and an "Izz, my man! How's it goin'?" Lib and Hannah are greeted with a salute as well and a charming little bow... from above, on his pedestal of a branch. Hannah's question-like thing is regarded, and N'ano replies with "Aye... somethin' like that." And then Rislyn's form is noticed, half-saluted at "How's it goin', man? You adjustin' well, I hope? You ain't knocked no one up yet, I hope?" And he's all serious 'bout that, too!

Having been discreetly sat to one side with a book, Lib looks up as she hears her name, giving a grin and a wave each to both Hannah and Izz'y, before closing up her book and wrapping it in a towel. Greenrider then gets up, waving to N'ano, Kia and D'baji as she does so. "Early morning swim?" She asks of Kia, wondering over to sit at the waters edge with her feet dangling in the pool.

Rislyn raises one brow at the jibe -- oh,he's serious. "Er -- not that I know of," Rislyn retorts meditatively. But there was that pretty little drudge.." A wicked grin crosse his face.

Valanth gives one more splash towards the bronze type 'ling dragon and paddles back towards the shore coming to a stop next to Kia giving his lifemate a loving whuffle. The greetings of everyone and what not having her turning to salute and of course ramble off everyone's title and name "Junior Weyrwoman Hannah, Bluerider Izz'y, Greenrider Lib, Resident type I don't know who looks alot like N'ano?" and then she answers Lib with a grin "Juts givin Valanth a bath before we get into any work. That way there's not extra dirt to get off when we're done with lessons and what not later."

"You're lifemates are looking well.  Kia, that's a good strategy.. the less dirt you have to clean, the easier it is!"  Hannah chuckles to herself softly before she finds herself a seat.

D'baji is still treading water alongside his bronze in the deeper bits of the pool, and with a motion of his head, the pair of them set off for a slightly less occupied, and shallower, but of water where they might bathe properly before the day begins. And proceeds to find himself rather at a loss of anything to add for the conversation that wouldn't involve him jumping around and wiggling like a kidlet on too much klah. So he contents himself with rubbing at an offered foreleg, listening. And D'baji doesn't like to just listen, so he scowls a wee bit too.

Rislyn gibes Kia a slight nod in greeting, fingers still trailing sand. The rest of thre group -- dragons incliuded, are watched with curiosity.

"Shardit!" It's not a happy one, you see. Sighing, N'ano jumps down from his branch, making his way towards the young man "You better not've! You need to do somethin' to occupy your time so you ain't--y'know." Words from the wise. Introductions are probably in line now, no? Groaning, he turns to face the lot of people, waving a hand in motion towards Rislyn "Hey everyone, this is" a dramatically long sigh here "my brother, Rislyn. He's gonna be stayin' here at the Weyr... so just 'case you haven't met 'em yet." There, done.

"Should that be assistant weyrlingmaster Lib, weyrling?" Smiling innocently at Kia, the greenrider nods at the girls remarks on cleaning. "Not a bad idea, at least when you've not got too much dragon to clean. Valanth looks rather fetching when he's newly polished too." Grin goes to the weyrling blue before Lib bursts into giggles, and then quickly puts a hand over her mouth. Ahem.

Rislyn rpolls his eyes skyward. "Like aI still can't do that if i wanted to. You're such a..." Well. Let's be nice to the brother before said brother squashes him flat. "Hmmph. If you can, why can't I? And I got a skill!"

Sarrol wonders what she's got herself into as she comes upon a group of people not to mention quite a few dragons. Most she doesn't think she's ever seen here at Ista Weyr. It sure has changed since she was here last. Sarr ventures a greeting and says, "Hello," to basically everyone.

D'baji turns towards the one N'ano's introducing, giving a wet wave in his direction, which turns to a quick salute, before his attentions go back to Nverath. The bronze, who has absolutely no reason not to talk, gives an impressed rumble towards Valanth for Lib's commenting on his hide. Yes, he's a rather handsome blue. He pauses, going for some sand as well now that the lightly bronzed area has been primed, and starting a more effective scrubbing with that. And Nverath offers great big bugle for Dhiammarath.

"So use it!" N'ano's voice did /not/ just crack there. Really it didn't. Lib's reprimand towards Kia gets a smirk and muffled laugh as his attention is brought towards her for a moment, and then quickly returns to Rislyn, "What!? I don't go knockin' people up!" Anymore... "I'm 'mated, you dimglow!" And then Kia's /and/ Hannah's comments rise that infamous blush of his "No! I mean--yeah, it's not 'nother child," that to Hannah, and "And he's my /half/ brother... father's side." Just for clarification on Kia's behalf.

Don't blame me for hs..behavior." Sly teasing darkens rislyn's tone; seems he can't get away from teasing his brother.

"And the weyr is all just one big happy family..." Lib can't help but grin at N'ano's reactions to the bombardment of comments his relationship to Rislyn seems to have generated. Sarrol gets a wave and a smile from the greenrider, who then turns back to Kia. "Want a hand at all? 'Lisha's still sleeping, and she's big enough to bathe herself anyways."

Valanth is much more interested in things transpiring on the shore at the moment his whirling blue eyes followed by the cute little warble here and there. Gotta get a word in edgewise even if Kia is gonna end up laughing a bit too hard over it. Entrance of Dhia has him giving a whoot of greeting his wings raising in their own little salute as Kia waves "Coming to join us too Dhiammarath?" Lib's question gets a shrug "Sure! I never turn down help at all you know. Did you see Valanth's straps in the barracks? They're just so cute"

Hannah giggles both at N'ano and Rislyn's behavior and that of her lifemate. Bugling back to her little bronzen child and her little blue child, the gold sinks until she's just a pale wraith under the water with the top of her head exposed.  Finding herself a seat, the shy weyrwoman is content to watch the unfolding... embarrassment of N'ano.

N'ano isn't... embarassed. He's just caught off guard, that is, with all the questions, anyway. With a huff, he backsteps towards his tree again, making his way back up the branch to sit. Maybe he should play mime too?

"I'll be sure to take a look next time I'm over there, Kia." Slipping over to Valanth's side, Lib takes her own handful of side, then tilts her head to regard the blue dragon. "Where's you want scrubbed first, love? Any particular itches?" Greenrider might not be fond of human children, but she just adores the dragonic variety. They don't attack you with paint, at least no normally...

Valanth has helpers and thus they're treated like glass the soft whuffle and a nose point towards the side of his soft underbelly. Enter look of the canine variety see he itches there and well on the other side too but KiaBean is doing fine on her own over there. Kia just giggles "He's gonna love you forever now Lib, scrubbing is one of his favorite things for people to do to him. That and oiling but he just adores the water"
.
Nverath notices Valanth's being scrubbed by two people, oh yes he does. Head is lowered to the water to blow a quick few bubbles at his rider, who pauses in the rinsing of the dragon's leg to eye the people on shore. Of course, if Valanth has a helper, well, Nverath wants one too. Odd, the bronze isn't /usually/ competitive... So D'baji leaves his dragon waiting in the water to go the shore, eyes falling over the people there, and a point is given to Sarrol, an eyebrow raised questioningly, and a thumb jerked at Nverath in his best miming of 'Wanna help?'

"It's a big pain to oil and wash Dhiammarath and so she only gets it when she really needs it now.. unlike before, when she was little and I would do it for her all the time," Hannah remarks, watching Lib and Kia begin to wash Valanth.  "It's probably about time for a real bath for her.. but all that hide."  She winks and adds, "it's daunting."

Sarrol smiles at D'baji and nods, heading over to the water. She wouldn't mind scrubbing a dragon. That could be fun...right?

D'baji hops up and down and claps for Sarrol's agreement, prancing on off towards the water, and jumping in with a rather spectacular lack of grace. He points the young woman whom he's drafted into scrubbing, and then goes to point at Nverath's left side, while the bronze cranes his neck as close to Sarrol as is possible to get without actually touching her, giving a little whuffle. D'baji stoops to gather up some wet sand, making an example of rubbing this on an available bronze chest, and then rinsing it. And that, class, is how we scrub Nverath.

Kia giggles "I think cleaning Dhiammarath might be a huge task.. Though if I'm not stuck with some chore or lesson I'll help out while Valanth is drying off?" see smile again as she comences her scrubbing an thumbs up at Baji for his finding of someone to help him with Nverath after all competition is a way of life sometimes "Sometimes Valanth't tricky though and tries to dunk you.. Though since you're an AWLM he might just dunk me instead"

Sarrol grins at Nverath before heading over to his left side to follow D'baji's example, scooping up some wet sand and scrubbing the hide, then rinsing. This isn't so bad actually. Sarr's two flitters leap off of her shoulders and actually start to help.

Hannah giggles and replies to Lib, "Sometimes, her size is very annoying.  She's no where near petite."  Kia is smiled at, "We'll see.  Your lifemate is much more high maintenance than mine is at the moment.  He is growing rather well. He looks very well cared for, weyrling."  She adds a smile to that, turning to see what her gal is up to.  The gold decides that sunning herself is much more interesting and has pulled herself out of the water to fall into a heap of glimmery and wet gold.

Nverath gives a thankful bob of his head to Sarrol, as D'baji's hardly tactful enough to thank her for her services, dipping his nose to blow some bubbles her way, and crouching so as the higher bits of himself might be made a bit more easily accessible. D'baji grins at the firelizards, pointing at himself and mouthing the word 'my' and then pointing at the lizards, and shaking his head towards Nverath. His firelizards are hardly so good as to aid in the washing. He's rather impressed, saluting her with his next handful of sand before nodding for Nverath to lower his head and spreading the gunk over the beginning of the bronze's neck, with a quick eye back to the others. Just to make sure everyone's still breathing.

"I got used to be dunked when 'Lisha was a 'ling. She was an absolute devil with that tail of hers, and even know she's not above using it, 'specially when she's proddy." Rolling her eyes, Lib scoops up some sand and shifts to start work on Valanth's nearest wing. "If he did try anything, you'd most likely find she'd come splashing into the water to save me, mind. So if he doesn't want an annoyed green on his case, he'd best stick to enjoying his wash."

Sarrol giggles as the bronze thanks her. She gets a few more handfuls of sand and scrubs the hide as best as she knows how. Jack, her brown firelizard, chirrups for Natiran, the blue, to work closer to Sarr as she can't quite reach a certain area. Nat dives down from his spot and does just that. Their pet just giggles as she works, happy to be back at Ista Weyr once again, though she may have to leave soon.

D'baji goes to rinse at the neck, then blinks at Nverath for further instruction. Soon enough, he's going to the read part of the dragon, sand in hands, more than a little prepared to tackle Nverath's favourite spot for rubbings: the tail. The bronze, in the meantime, swivels his head as best he can for a view of the girl and her firelizards at work, giving a little 'clucking' sound for the itty bitty winged ones, and sending a bit of a ripple through his hide with the help of muscle twitching. Alas, D'baji would be one for conversation, but...

Hannah watches the sudden leavetaking of everyone with interest and since she doesn't have much to do until later that afternoon, she lays back on her rock and sunbathes for a little.  Like lifemate like rider.  Dhiammarath has fallen into a light doze, though she's still aware of what's going on around her.

Nverath thinks to you, << I bespoke Sarrol with << You sense that Nverath hopes, amidst the constant stream of golden that colours his thoughts, with pleading bits of forest green floating overtop, and occasional swirls of contented grey-blue, <<If you would not mind, my shoulder near the side you've scrubbed has begun to itch.>> When rider cannot talk, dragon isn't too shy to take over! >> >>

Sarrol smiles at the dragon, wondering if she really heard what she did. She shakes it off and scrubs Nverath's shoulder so it won't itch anymore. "Is that good?" she asks as she scrubs.

Nverath gives an appreciative bob of his head, accompanied by a thankful croon, to the girl, eyes half-closing as both itching areas are given the needed attention. D'baji gives a friendly roll of his eyes for his lifemate, finishing with the tail, much to Nverath's dismay, and circling around to stand somewhere between in front of the bronze, and beside Sarrol, giving a bow to her, and a grin. He gestures towards Nverath, then places his hands over his heart, then points at her. See? The bronze likes you.

Sarrol laughs and says, "This was fun. By the way, my name is Sarrol." She doesn't remember giving her name before. oh well. Sarr points to the blue firelizard that's just now landing on her shoulder, "And this is Natiran, and the brown is Jack." Jack cheeps and comes down for a landing on Sarr's other shoulder. Sarrol pats the bronze's shoulder and grins, glad to have had something to do instead of wandering around.

D'baji gives a bit of a laugh, clamping a hand over his mouth for the noise he's not supposed to be making, and nodding simply to her introductions, with a little salute for either firelizard. He's got a few issues with saluting the riders, but the firelizards aren't really a problem. A pause as he considers how he could possibly sign his name to her, a search which proves fruitless. Nverath, however, gives a rumble, and D'baji actually facepalms. Yup, like, smacking his hand into his nose. A mad gesture between himself and Nverath to demonstrate 'we', and then two fingers 'walking' across the air in the direction of the path leading back to the bowl, as well as an apologetic look. And a bow to her for helping.

Nverath thinks to you, << I bespoke Sarrol with << You sense that Nverath echoes his rider's bow mentally, the gold swirling into somethin of a tornado, with pleased orange tinges and swishes of blue from his recent pleasure of scratching. <<I am Nverath. And he is D'baji. We thank you for your help, but must depart for other duties.>> The monologue is cut off with a flourish of silver gratitude. >> >>
