RACIAL/CLASS ADVANTAGES |
Racial: Thick
Skinned: Orcs are born with a naturally thick skin, that with
age only gets thicker helping them be more resistant to injuries. This
gives them a +20% natural soak Inner Strength: (lvl3) Creatures that usually fight to the death, this ability allows the Orc to maintain its senses when near death and on a passed endurance check at 5 hps or lower the Orc receives +5% to attack and evade. They will not drop until -11 when they will die. Natural Aura: (lvl 5) Orcs are naturally intimidating creatures, their appearance and recent violent behavior adds to this aura. They receive the intimidate skill by default. Skill begins at 45% for Orcs and raise at +5% per level. +5% to hit with weapons of the large category Class: The Monk is the master of unarmed combat, their fists do d6 their kicks do d8. They gain a plus one every level to damage after level 1. Level 2 d6+1/d8+1 Level 3 d6+2/d8+2 etc. To a max of +8, base this does not include bonuses from brawn. The bonuses to damage, are added to a cestus’ damage, as a cestus is just a weighted punching glove. Level 3:Monks gain one additional unarmed combat skills above the normal skills gained per level. Mental Prowess: The monk immune to all level three and lower psionic powers that affect the mind, with a successful mental discipline roll. Level 5: A monk gains the ability of superior dodge. This ability allows them a chance to evade magical attacks if successful taking no damage. If they fail, they take full damage. Level 7:Advanced Mental Prowess: This allows the monk to be immune to all mind affecting psionics level six and lower, with a successful mental discipline roll. Natural Armor: At this level the monks skin has been sufficiently toughened that they have a natural soak of 35%, that goes up 5% per level no higher than 75. Level 9: Pure Bod y& Soul: At this level the monk will no longer age, living for several thousand years. They also become similar to a spiritual entity being able to walk on the Plane of Spirits, with no adverse affects, and only a 20% chance of beign attacked. Holy Strike: This attack allows the monk to do triple damage to all creatures of the three stars. can only be done three times per day. |
RACIAL/CLASS DISADVANTAGES |
Racial:
It is unknown why, but no orc has ever been born a psion, nor can
they ever become one. Nor can there ever be an orcish scholar, their has
never been a need or want to be such. Orcs are also at a -10% for any artistic skill, they are warriors not lovers. When underground or in very tight spaces with no obvious exits they must make a willpower check, or will go into a panic. -15% to all rolls. Because of their size, they are cumbersome and receive -5% to any stealth type skills. Class: Can wear *NO* armor whatsoever, though rumors do exist of monk robes that give upwards of 50% soak. Though no one has ever found these. A monk can NEVER drink anything alcoholic other than sacramental wine. And they never drink that anyplace other than the monastary. They can NEVER have sex with anyone other than another monk. They can never be wed or have children, except by another monk. A monk will never curse. If a monk has sex, drinks anything other than sacramental wine. or curses. Their body and soul will be sullied and they will loose all abilities, until they have absolutely atoned. Minimum one month real time, is required for atonement. During this time they will be unable to use any abilities of the Monk Class. |

Bain is an extraordinary looking male, he stands at 6'6 and is covered in muscle, sculpted with the look of a god, his only non human features are his elongated jaw and large size. He has an oak wood hued skin, his eyes burn with an orange tint, he wears baggy clothing, which consists of a pair of baggy fine black silk pants, and a black fancy button down shirt, with wooden toggles along the left side of the top sporting leather boots, and a cloak with Fist encircled with flames he wears a pair of gloves as well which have the finger tips missing. |
CHARACTER BACKGROUND |
Not much is known of his past, the core of his race always at war with themselves and anyone around them he's grown up in the warrior lifestyle now with his calling as a monk his attempt at a path of piece, though the rage in his body is there, he makes his way to Travia and other parts near by seeking the next challenge... Always getting strong his relentless attempt at gaining more power doesn't end... Not like most monks that follow a god, he believes in a balance following in all teachings taught by each deity taking the parts from there teachings, and using each aspect to live by his ultimate goal is to end the threat of the three stars, and to become a tribe leader, even an Avatar, in the hopes he can gain an ultimate power. |
