Does the Blue Ajah have an Eyes'n'Ears network?
Yes! However, only members of the Blue Ajah are given access to the Eyes'n'Ears area of the Hall. However, some exceptions are made for Warders bonded to Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah, and very few aspiring to the Ajah (only with good reason). The Master/Mistress of the Eyes'n'Ears network is responsible for a majority of the incoming information, however all members can bring in any information that they don't want taken out of the Ajah. All members are sworn to secrecy upon given entrance. Please E-mail Amora Sedai for your user name and password.
What are the rules upon entering the Hall of the Blue Ajah?
1. Respect
a) You must respect the authority of those above you in rank. The general positions or rank are the Head and Sitters. Failure to comply is possible expulsion from the Ajah.
b) Those aspiring to the Blue Ajah must also respect those in rank, but do not have to take orders. This includes respect for Aes Sedai and Asha'man; and if you are a Novice or Soldier, respect for Accepted and Dedicated. But again, you do not have to take orders. However, if you are disrespectful you risk loosing your chances of becoming a member or reporting to the Mistress of the Novices and Soldiers, or the Amyrlin and M'Hael.
c) Members of the Ajah must also respect those below them in rank. They do not give orders to those aspiring to the Ajah unless teaching a class, and only class related.
2. Language
a) No flaming or shouting (Described in CAPITALIZED LETTERS), emphasis may be made by using bold, italics, or underlined words. All discussions are to be kept in a calm orderly, respectful manner.
b) No threats. These are act of the subject seen by others as direct promises to kill or injure a person or any other acts made in the same way. This does not include warnings of possible expulsion or denial of entry into membership, or restriction from the Eyes'n'Ears network, or demoting in rank.
c) Everyone has a voice, if you want to say something say it. However you must follow the rules of Respect and Language.
3. Power
a) The Head reserves the right to:
Notify the Amyrlin and M'Hael of a Sitter's inability to keep her/his responsibilities, and that Sitter may be removed from office.
Remove the Master/Mistress of the Eyes'n'Ears network from office after two warnings.
Reject applications for membership, and expel current members after at least two warnings. (including inactivity for two months, unless permission has been received from the Head.)
b) The Head may be reported to the Amyrlin and/or M'Hael for not keeping her/his responsibilities. This report should be filed after two warnings have been issued from one of the Sitters after discussing the issue with the rest of the Ajah. A new Head may be appointed by the Amyrlin and M'HAel. However, she/he must create a new web page and may only use things like icons and direct quotes with the permission of the old page's creator.
c) Any member may retire from the Ajah and/or status as a Hall Official, but must notify the Head. If the member is choosing to retire from their status as a Hall Official, they must notify the Head with enough time to find a replacement. If the Head chooses to retire, they must notify the Amyrlin or M'Hael in enough time to find a replacement. Likewise, please notify the Head if you are not a member yet but choose to aspire to a different Ajah. (This way, every job is always filled and the Member List can be kept up-to-date.)
4. Eyes'n'Ears
All of those with access to the Eyes'n'Ears network must keep all information within the network. (This means that the information must be kept to its members. E-mails can run to and from those with access concerning the information but no one else and nowhere else than the Eyes'n'Ears area of the Hall of the Blue Ajah.)
If you have any questions concerning the information here, or have suggestions for questions to be added to the FAQ, please e-mail Amora Sedai.
