By Your Side

I want to be there by your side, never let go and be your guide,

I need you here with me,

only you can fill that emptiness inside,

I want to be there by your side, always outside

looking in, all chocked up, wearing my double chin.

I want to be there by your side, will you accept me

as your friend, for you I will do anything,

further and further backwards I will bend,

cause I opened my heart to you this spring.

I want to be there by your side, miles and miles

may keep us apart,yet I keep my arms open wide,

in hopes that someday I will have your heart.

I want to be there by your side, at times there may

be heartache and pain,we will go through life side

by side,weathering the storm and the rain.

I want to be there by your side, to show you where

we belong,I am naked and have nothing to hide,

you in my arms would make me strong.

I want to be there by your side, with you I feel

complete,the rules you set I will gladly abide,

I will wait until our fateful emergance of heat
