My Dreams

My dreams are things I always turn to,

To make me happy when I am so blue.

Each dream takes me to a different place,

But in each dream, I always see your face.

Sometimes I dream of the day I first saw you,

Or sometimes I dream of how fast our love grew.

I often dream about the good times we share,

Or of how our relationship is honest and fair.

Sad times are times I dream of never,

Because in every dream, you and me are together.

When you tell me "sweet dreams," you know that it’s true,

I have the one thing I have dreamed for...you.
