"Land of Light"

- Surreal -

A mystical dreamworld. One of my favorite.

- Evening in Jamaica -

I wanted to do a tropical evening scene, (I ended up doing several) and this was the first one I did.

- Crater Lake -

One of my earlier creations was this magnificent image of Crater Lake in Oregon. The rays of light hitting the lake was rare bonus for me in the creation of this image.

- Dawn Over the Applachians -

Another one of my earliest creations. At this point I was still letting the program do most of the work.

- Terra Irritus Lumen (1)-

One of my greatest sunrise images ever. I love the mixture of color, and how it blends together. Notice the whitecaps at the left. Another rare bonus. The title is Latin.

- Terra Irritus Lumen (2)-

My greatest achievement ever - the perfect sunrise. I get goosebumps every time I look at this picture. If only I could create them more often.

- Machu Picchu -

I love history. I plan to become an archaeologist someday. I created this after reading about the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu, in South America. The leveled platforms of rock remind me of those ruins.

- Somnium Solum -
(Dream Land)

Another mystical place. I often wonder what the dreamscape looks like.

- The Stillness of the Evening -

My favorite scene to photograph is the myriad of colors that appear in the sky in the evenings. Here, I wanted to duplicate the redness of the sky that appears towards the end of the day.

- Aureus Solis -
(Golden Sun)

"There's nothing more beautiful than a golden sunset..."

- Redundo Ora -
(Over the Edge)

I was amazed when I finished this image. I never expected this to happen. The ray of light coming off the rock reminds me of the spray of ice seen coming of the top of Mt. Everest in pictures.

- Kulde Vann -
(Cold Water)

I like to mix snow and water. It makes the image look more realistic in winter scenes.

- Specto de Lumen -
(Behold the Light)

I think this picture almost has a religious tone to it. The sun couldn't be more perfectly positioned.
