WE ARE BACK!!! We have finally started to update again and are back up and running. We have not had much time updated and maintaining this site, so what we may do soon is sell this site to anyone interested and have someone help out. Welcome to The Phantom Menace site. We have added lots of new features and info.

Not much news lately about The Phantom Menace, but tickets still seem to be selling. Most die hard fans are already anticipating the opening for Episode 2, which is scheduled to release in 2002 or 2003. Episode 2 will begin production around January 2000 in Australia or whenever Lucas has completed the script.

Jedi master, Qui-Gon Jinn, played by Liam Neeson (Schindler's List, Les Miserables, Darkman). The character plays an important role when he finds the young Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine and senses the force within him. Qui Gon believes that the young Anakin should begin Jedi training and brings him before the jedi counsel.

This is the young Obi Wan Kenobi played by Ewan Mcgregor (Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary, Shallow Grave). Mcgregor, a native of Scotland is a newcomer to a list of top actors to come. Recommended previous movies you should see with Ewan Mcgregor are Trainspotting and a Life Less Ordinary. Must see!!

Padme Naberrie(Queen Amidala) is played by Natalie Portman(Mars Attacks!, Beautiful Girls, The Professional). Amidala is the young Queen of Naboo and soon to be mother of Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.

The young Anakin Skywalker is played by Jake Lloyd(Jingle All The Way). Found enslaved on the planet of Tatooine by Watto the Toydarian, a junk parts owner, he must choose to leave and become a Jedi, leaving his mother forever. This young Skywalker seems to be the only hope again.

The Dark Side. As a member of the Dark Lords of the Sith, Darth Maul is the evil sith hired as an assasin to kill the other Jedi's and find the Queen. Maul is played by Ray Park, a 24 year old martial artists.
