Entered Into Eternal Rest
Sunday, March 25, 1979

Viola E. Dye, 64, of
Harborside Villa, Lexington, SC
wife of Manley B. Dye, died
Sunday in Providence Hospital.
Born in Quincy, Ill., she was
a daughter of the late Mr and
Mrs Thomas Wm Elick. She was
a member of Jackson Creek Bap-
tist Church, Dentsville.
Surviving are her husband;
two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis
Barrett of Augusta, GA., and Mrs
Jerry (Frances) Wilson of South
Congaree; a son, Everett L Boice
of Tyler, Tx; two step-sons,
Stanley Dye of Chapin and Danny
Dye of San Diego, CA; and two
sisters, Mrs Marie Fender of Chicago,
Ill., and Mrs Goldie Musolino of
Quincy, Ill.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at
Southland Memorial Gardens,
in South Congaree, conducted
by Rev. Paul Rogers.
Thompson Funeral Home is
in charge.


Thomas William Elick

Thomas William Elick,67, a retired
carpenter, died Monday morning
at 8:30 in the his home, 723 No.16th St.
  A son of Mr. and Mrs. William Elick,
he was born in Loraine, July 23, 1873.
He was married to Miss Ivy Myrtle Elick
May 19, 1897. Mr. Elick is survived by his widow,
three daughters, Mrs. Paul Huff and
Mrs. Louis Musolino of Quincy and
Mrs. David Fender of Chicago; a son
Harry of Ottumwa, Ia; two brothers,
Vernon of Dos Paltos, Ca and Albert of
San Francisco; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Weisner
of California and six grand-children.
A son, Merle, died in 1938.
Mr. Elick was a member of the Vermont St. Methodist Church.

Mr. Musolino, age 56; lived at 628-1/2 Hampshire St;
Owner/operator of Luigie's Pizza House;
d. 25 Oct 1966 in Quincy, IL; his parents were
Frank Musolino and Giovanna Vadola; married
Goldie Elick on 30 Nov 1933 in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Quincy;
he was a motion picture projectionist.
Survivors: The spouse, son-Frank L. (of Quincy,
daughters-Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Veile (of Warsaw,IN),
Mrs. Edward (Joan) McHenry (of Springfield, IL),
Mrs. Warren (Mary Kay) McGee (of Canton, IL)
Mrs. Henry (Mary Lou) Miller (of Quincy),
sisters-Mrs. Ernest (Katherine) Villamaina, Mrs(Santa)
Simeone, Mrs. Lucille Goetz (of St. Louis
and twin sister Mrs. Mary Kickler (of Mooseheart, IL.
Burial on 27 Oct 1966 in Calvary Cemetery, Quincy.


Veile, Nancy A. (nee Musolino),fortified with
the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church,Thurs.,
June 7, 2001; dearest mother of Stephen (Kay)
of Jefferson City, MO, Deborah (Richard) Walters,
Gregory (Sharon),Joseph (Kathy) and
Donald (Jayne) Veile; loving grandmother of Eric,
Adam, Lena, Theresa, Mandy, Danny, Lauren, Katie,
Erin, Andrew, Nicole and Jacob Veile,Tina and Richard
Walters; daughter of Goldie Musolino of Quincy,IL;
dear sister of Frank (Esther) Musolino of Quincy,IL,
Mary Kay (Warren) McGhee of Urbana, OH, Mary Lou
(Harry) Miller of Omaha, AR. and the late Joan McHenry
of Springfield, IL; our dear sister-in-law, aunt,
great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Nancy and Richard were married inQuincy,IL. on
April 23, 1952. They were long parishioners of
Our Lady of Sorrows and now belong to Most
Precious Blood Parish.She will be missed by all who
know and love her.
Funeral from the NEW KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel,
5255 Lemay Ferry Rd, (at Butler Hill), on Sat.,
June 9, 9:30 a.m. to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church,
for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
Contributions to American Heart or American Diabetes
Assoc., appreciated. Visitation Fri., 3-9 p.m.
