I have been married 29 years to Don. That's almost half of my life (LOL!). He is an electroplater for a company that he has worked in for 31 years! We do not have any children of our own, however, we have been blessed with several nieces and nephews. I have 11 myself...April, Cory, Jeremy, Ashley, Emily, Katie, Stephen, Natalie and Jeffrey, as well as step niece and nephew Katey and Brad. I truly am blessed!!

We had a 12 and a half year old german shepherd-collie cross, who passed away June 22, 2004. She looked a lot like a shepherd but had the collie personality. She was such a suck!!

Now, we have gone feline. We have two kittens, Sylvia, (aka Silly Girl), and Harley. Sylvia looks like Sylvester, the cartoon cat, and Harley, well, he's just about pure black. When I got him, he was very ill and not expected to live. He was 2lbs 2oz when I got him at 8 weeks old. He is now 4 years old, and weighs 14lbs. What a difference! I have had both of them spayed and neutered to be a responsible pet owner.

On February 6/2005, I lost my father to COPD, and advanced rheumatoid arthritis. Although it was a sad thing, I was relieved to see that he was no longer in pain, and looked very at "peace". The day before that, my niece April, gave birth to her first child, a little girl, Ava. It was dad's first great grandchild. Although he never got to see her, he was lucid long enough to understand that he was indeed a great grandpa, and that April was fine. So, it was happiness, followed by sadness, and now, I'm sure at times, dad still comes to visit us in dreams and signs.

I am interested in many things. I love to make web pages, but also like to revise them often. I believe in angels. I love children. I love dogs. I have been on one major trip in my life, and that was to Great Britain, in September of 2000. My sister and I had the time of our lives. Most of the time, I stay home and go to work at a document conversion company. There, I help to convert paper documents to microfilm, and now CD. It's pretty neat, and I know that I am fortunate to have a job in these times of ever changing fortune.

But, times change, and the company closed. I now work for a card company, where most of the time is spent catching cards coming off of a conveyor belt and packing them. After sitting on my butt for over 5 years, my body felt every ache and pain it could stand. I literally lived on any muscle relaxant I could find! But that's since passed, and I have lost a little over 30 pounds. Not bad, aye?!

UPDATE: As of July 21, 2006, I am no longer gainfully employed. It appears the company had lost a lot of money, and locked everyone out. Over 550 jobs were lost that day. Now it's back to looking for a job!
