Tazz d. Kurt Angle via submission

-Tazz came out to the ring with a lot of fanfare. The match began with both men executing many different suplexes. However, it was the ‘Human Suplex Machine’ with 3 superior suplexes followed by the Tazzmission sleeper hold with the victory. Medical personal then came out to aid a listless Kurt Angle.

The Hardy Boys d. The Dudley Boyz

-Buh Buh was the first to get pummeled through a table via a guilliotine legdrop and a flying splash by both Hardy boys. Jeff and Matt then tried to set up D-Von, but he moved out of the way and both Hardys flying through the tables themselves. The Dudleys then set up two steel steps inside the ring and a table atop of them. Matt was then double teamed via a power bomb and sent through the set up. Back at the entranceway, the Dudleys set up two tables on top of each other. Jeff battled back to send Buh Buh through his own concoction. Jeff then did a senton bomb from the entranceway onto D-Von to win the match.

Kurt Angle was backstage in a delirious state asking the medics if he had won and if he was still undefeated. The medics told Kurt he had been choked unconscious. Kurt reiterated that that was illegal and therefore he was still undefeated.

The judges for the bikini contest were introduced. Andy Richter from the Konan Obrien Show and Freddy Blassie were some of the more notables.

All the contestants were dressed scantily of course, with the Kat dressed in bubble wrap. Mae Young came out and told the fans that she was going to show her puppies. She didn’t disappoint and not once, but twice disrobed despite Mark Henry’s efforts to cover her up. Mae Young was announced to be the unanimous winner.

Chris Jericho d. Hardcore Holly and Chyna by pinning Chyna

-Chyna was thrown to the outside in the beginning portions of the contest. All three combatants then exchanged their specialty maneuvers. Chyna then attempted the walls of Jericho on Holly, but Jericho catches her from behind with a face buster. Chris Jericho then executed a moonsault on Chyna to become the undisputed Intercontinental Champion.

The Rock was interviewed Michael Cole and stated that if he could get passed Headbanger Mosh and Crash Holly he would have a good shot at winning the Royal Rumble, jokingly of course. He then proceeded to lay the smack down on the Big Show.

The New Age Outlaws d. The Acolytes via pin fall

-The Acolytes had the match in hand until X-Pac showed up. X-Pac gave Bradshaw kick, but was greeted with a spine buster by Farooq for his troubles. Bad Ass took advantage of a weakened Bradshaw and hit him with the fame-asser to retain the Tag Team Titles.

Triple H d. Cactus Jack via pin fall

-Triple H struck first with a lethal chair shot to Cactus Jack’s head. The match went through the audience to the entrance way where Cactus suplexed Helmsley onto some wooden palettes and then followed it up with a trash can shot. Cactus Jack then pulled out a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire from underneath the ring. However, Helmsley got a hold of it and Cactus took the brunt of shots. The referee then discards the weapon, but Cactus is furious and gets it back. Cactus Jack then struck Helmsley with the homemade weapon, shedding first blood. Cactus then tries to pile drive Helmsley through the announce table, but he reverses it driving Cactus and himself through. Triple H is then able to hand cuff Cactus Jack. A bloodied Helmsley then follows Cactus towards the entranceway where he is greeted briefly by a chair wielding ‘people’s champ.’ Someone then dressed in security garb released Cactus from the handcuffs. Cactus is relentless and continues the carnage by pile driving Helmsley through the announce table. Cactu s Jack then pours a bag of thumbtacks into the ring. Helmsley however is able to capitalize with not one, but two pedigrees, with the second being on top of the thumbtacks to retain the WWF Title. The medical team tries to wheel out Helmsley but Cactus runs out after him and throws him back into the ring. Cactus Jack then struck Helmsley with one more shot via the barbed wire covered 2x4 for good measure.
