My name is Sarah, I'm 17 and I live in a town called Penrith, which is in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia (I live about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away from Newcastle). I have been a fan of silverchair since I bought Frogstomp in 1995. Words cannot express how much I love them, I can't quite describe exactly what makes the 'chair so special to me, it's just this great feeling I get from listening to their music and the excitement of reading a new silverchair article, and the anticipation of seeing them in concert. I've seen silverchair twice in concert - Newcastle 31/7/99 and Homebake festival Sydney 11/12/99. I haven't met silverchair yet and I'd probably be too afraid to go up them, in case they thought I was an idiot! My fave silverchair album is Neon Ballroom and my fave songs are Emotion Sickness, Untitled, Israel's Son and Petrol And Chlorine. Other bands/artists i adore include Nirvana, Hole, Smashing Pumpkins, Veruca Salt, Foo Fighters, Garbage and Fiona Apple.
