They Overwhelm My Senses My hands are shaking, but here are some tributes to the good things in life.
Those Amazing Moving Pictures
- Self-proclaimed critic and future director that I am, here are some suggestions:
- Anything Kubrick! A true auteur, a master. Clockwork Orange heavily reccommended AFTER you read the book (a must!).
- Aronofsky: Syle out the ass. Requiem for a Dream is unmatched.
- Depp: Sleepy Hollow, From Hell, etc. Always spooky, how does he do that?
- Jude Law: Great actor, the British accent gets me everytime.
- Joaquin Pheonix: Unparalled emotion in his acting. Jipped out of the oscar.
- Bret Easton Ellis: Anything based on his books; American Psycho, wonderful gore and insanity; The Rules of Attraction.
- Trainspotting: It's hard to find a movie equal in it's insanity, joy, and style.
- A Life Less Ordinary: Cohen-esque
- O Brother, Where Art Thou?: Changed my opinion on George Clooney's acting abilities, funniest movie I've seen.
