you need to know what type of place New Zion Christian Church
(formerly New Zion Fellowship) in Houston, TX really is....

If you are contemplating going there,
RUN in the opposite direction, unless you enjoy being spiritually abused.
There is a nice surface, but don't dare to go beyond that.

NEW ZION, SHAME ON YOU!
SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT PAYING YOUR BILLS!
SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
SHAME ON YOU FOR ALLOWING THIS TO GO ON FOR SO LONG.
SHAME ON YOU FOR PUTTING UP THE SWEET FACE,
BUT BEING A WOLF UNDERNEATH.

To date, APRIL 2003, and the church has not paid one dime of the bills yet.
The employee (whom I know closely) is now being harrassed by collection agencies
over bills that were never his/her responsibility.
New Zion has been contacted many times, but they do not have the integrity to pay what is owed.

In addition to not paying the hospital bills,
they even deducted the cost of his/her prescriptions from his/her paycheck!!!
Yep, they are a fine example of how to treat people. NOT!!
New Zion, you should have the integrity to step up to the plate and pay the bills that you owe.

It is hard to believe that it will soon be TWO YEARS,
and NEW ZION CHRISTIAN CHURCH has still not paid its bills.
What a shining example of how to not do things.
Since anyone connected to that church would also be subject
to the same spiritual judgement as the church and staff will be,
if you are thinking of going there, better THINK AGAIN.

Again, New Zion does not pay its bills.
They are fiscally irresponsible.

They also run a daycare, probably run with the same lack of integrity.
While we had no direct dealings with the daycare, we know of others who did.
Their experiences are similar to ours, but dealt with their child.

If you are looking for a new church home,
you are better off staying at home and watching a preacher on TV.
Stay away and do not expose yourself to the spiritual abuse of this church.
