It has been nearly two years since the True Goddess spoke through The Lornyn. All five kingdoms are tense. There have been various border skirmishes, and all alliances are trade only. Mariandor had been sitting back, ignoring the various raids from Tanicas. Unfortunately, the crown prince Cedric was turning out to be not as benevolent as his father. Also, there had been talk of the Dree down in the Wild Lands.
Supposedly, the mythic race wasn't that mythic, and was planning an attack. People didn't give it much heed,as evil is supposed to heralded by signs. But then, disaster struck. The King of Mariandor was found by his wife, murdered in his bed. The queen herself plummeted from the balcony minutes later. The details of the kings death have been covered up, and prince Cedric has assumed the throne. To put aside the tragedy of his parents deaths, he is hosting a huge ball, to which everyone was invited. And everyone decided to show up! Including the four base goddesses and Sheerith. And Cedric seems to be welcoming the Dark Goddess with open arms. It looks tense. Or is it? The Sultan of Kaschak presented Cedric with spices and a member of his harem! And Sheerith showed up for the second night of the ball, treating Cedric like a long lost lover. What could the goddesses possibly want with Cedric? Is it another omen? What about the seemingly innocent merchant who was killed at the ball? And the dragon fortress is slowly building back its strength.
But...The two gaurdian goddesses plus the water goddess vistied the Odylice with disturbing news. The True Godess is trapped inside a mortal body, somewhere in Ridaya! Ehsense and Luminessa have taken the spirit of a long dead warrior, and placed it in a freshly dead body.
In the elven kingdom, Lord Darven of Mydisia overlooked one of Sheerith's contedents for his bride, and in revenge the dark goddess unleashed a horde of demons onto his city. Rebuilding is nearly complete, and the Royal Wedding is soon to commence. Jedaya the dragon has lain ten very odd and large eggs. And she didn't rise at the fortress... The eggs hatcehd into very large and unusaul dragons. Cedric has broken off his engagement with Seara, and is being quite friendly with Emperess Desiree. Gevrad, the Goddess Warrior is making his way slowly but surely across the five kingdoms, with the help of his companions. In the Dark Isles, Lord Vladamar is gaining strength, and his powers are strong. And Lord Darvens son has returned home for his father's wedding, at the summons of Cordelia. But a surpise was waiting for him at the wedding. Cole, who is his long lost twin brother. And in the middle of ths wedding reception the announcement is made that the Sultan Ibn Al-Habib has been killed.
