A pioneer of the action-packed animation and manga. Dragonball traces the whole life story of Sun Goku, from the small naive boy of the mountain to the most powerful man in the world (okay, universe) and finally his death (in Dragonball GT).
Admittingly that this story concentrates mainly on the action and the fighting, we can however see the bondage between all the characters and it is very endearing to see the once big bad guy, Vegeta, turn good guy and one of the Goku's most important sidekick (although as far as I can see, he is always the first the fight and first to loss....). Dragonball creates many unforgettable characters and the style of drawing is surprising modern although the first volume started many years ago.
