Sakura Cardcaptor, now a major TV hit among both the school children and adults in Japan tells the tale of a young primary school girl, who one day, discovered a magical book in her father's library. She unwittingly opened the book and released the cards of the books and the Guardian of the book is awakened. To make amends, she has to capture all the cards and become the new owner.
A refreshing series by Clamp that is nothing like the sad and tragic tales of X/1999 or RG Veda. I would know since I buy this series as soon as the new volume hit the shelves, a complete series that ends at Vol. 13 (Japanese). Another must for all Clamp fans whether you like X/1999 or not.
