WHAT ARE POKEMON?Pokémon (pocket monsters) are creatures found and then caught in a pokéball. There are 151 regular pokémon and then the new ones. Once caught a trainer raises them, increasing their levels and moves and then competes with others to become the best trainer and to catch them all.
Yellow Verison has a lot of similarities with Blue/Red Versions but at the beggining of the game Prof. Oak gives you Pikachu. Pikachu refuses to stay cooped up in a poké ball and instead follows you around. One of the goals is to keep your Pikachu happy.
