Although our focus was, and still is, primarily for breeding quality appaloosas for sale to the public, we are now expanding our boarding facility to allow horse owners and horse lovers the opportunity to enjoy the many benefits available to those who love and desire the companionship that horses can offer at an affordable price. Our facility currently boasts 30 acres of working farmland nestled quietly in rural Manteno.
Our 2 barns hold 31 stalls, all approximately 10 x 12 with rubber mats in each. All stalls have partial openings for the horses, relieving or lessening the chance of most stall vices. Your horse will strive from the quality of our supplemented feeding program.
A 60 x 120 indoor arena for year round use as well as a 100 x 200 outdoor arena is available to all boarders. A 1 1/2 mile partially wooded trail has recently been added for the more leisurely rider.

From the beginning rider to the most advanced, students of all ages have the opportunity to excel in their riding skills. Even if you don't have a horse of your own, we have horses available for all of our lesson programs. Our trainers are chosen very carefully with all riding diciplines in mind. Lesson programs are affordable for everyone and fun for all ages.
L & P Appy Acres puts forth every effort to make our facility a place where everyone is welcome. We encourage families to come out and visit our farm.
