MARS FAMILY HISTORY

RELATED INFORMATION ON ORANGE COUNTY NEW YORK
The Missler Migration Agency was the most noted institution for emigration in Europe prior to World War I. It was known to be an exclusive agency for the North German Lloyd shipping line . This shipping line had a port in Bremen, Germany. In 1865 the above carrying case was brought from Bremen, Germany to Castle Garden, New York by Stephen Mars.
