The Second Life Project
Project Communications
To Earth Support Staff from Planetary Expedition Group 3C Dated 12-01-2002. Group 3C filing monthly report, as always. No news or any sign of any inhabited planet whatsoever, as always. Guess this project is about over. After all, it'll be three (3) years in March, and we were only given funding for two and a half (2.5) years. We did good to strech it this long. Well, guess I'll probably see you in a few months. Starla Williams, Group Leader -------------------------------------- To Earth Support Staff from Planetary Expedition Group 3C Dated 1-02-2003. Sorry to be transmitting a day late, but we wanted to verify something first. No guarantees, but we're getting into a solar system that seems to have some unexplainable sounds being picked up. Maybe this is it. Keep your fingers crossed. We'll let you know one way or the other. Starla Williams, Group Leader -------------------------------------- To Earth Support Staff from Planetary Expedition Group 3C Dated 1-14-2003. We've done it! We finally have proof that we are not alone in the universe! In the Andromeda galaxy, we've found a tiny solar system - only one planet - but that planet has life on it! Intelligent life. We aren't alone anymore. Now we just have to figure out how to let people know. Anyways, we're transmitting preliminary planetary data with this memo. Estimate at least another three (3) months to gather required data. Guess that gives you time to figure our new PR problems. Just don't let everyone freak out, start remembering Independence Day, and decide they had better nuke the place before the aliens get the chance to attack, because this is a really great place.
